Little James is a café by day, cocktail and wine bar by night, blending Southern hospitality with Mediterranean flair. A social hub in the heart of Savannah, it's a place you can call home from morning to night, or in our world from café to cocktail.
Cool vibes and live music sometimes at night. But the staff is awful and everything is overpriced.

First the food was awesome. Fries were top notch. The downside was we walked in at 250 for lunch/dinner and was told they open food at 3. She said take a seat if we wanted to wait, and we did. (The menu says all day) So we waited. About 310 someone noticed us and approached us about ordering. IDK if we were supposed to go to the counter or wait for a server. No instructions or signs that I noticed.
We go our food and at the end of the day it was worth the wait. I'm glad we stuck it out because a few minutes more we were leaving. Staff and menu need better instructions.
This is near SCAD dorms so I noticed students gathering to do homework while drinking coffee. This appears to be a great study hall and not really a restaurant.

The staff here was so genuinely nice and I really appreciated that I feel like that’s rare. I don’t normally put reviews down but I really enjoyed the design of the space and atmosphere it created! Will go again! Also the food was great :)

Unreliable.
The first morning, we arrived to have breakfast and we're told that the chef would not arrive until after 2 p.m. We came back later in the afternoon and we're told that they were no longer serving food, only pastry case items and drinks. The next day we came in around five o'clock and were told that the Cafe was closed. The third day, we gave breakfast another shot. It was good, but the employees laxadaisical attitudes towards their failures tainted the whole experience.
The kitchen is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
