We love GCK! My brother lives in Pooler and anytime we come to visit him we always come to GCK to eat at least twice during our visits. I appreciate the size of the buffet. It is small to control the quality of the ingredients used in the dishes served - something that is greatly appreciated by myself and my family. I would much rather see a small buffet with quality dishes as opposed to a huge buffet with bland cafeteria offerings. We had the pleasure of speaking to the chef today and he told us he makes everything from scratch every day for the buffet and restaurant.
We ate here for GCK New Year's Day buffet, which was amazing and again today for lunch. Both were spectacular. Some of my favorites are: the Biscuits and sausage gravy (remind me of my dad's), catfish (so good!), fried chicken, collard greens, shepherd's pie, and peach cobbler.
You won't find a nicer bunch of people working at a restaurant than works at GCK. Everyone is so friendly. I saw them help several elderly people with their dishes of food on New Years, which I thought was great service. Keep up the great work! Thank you for putting forth quality food at affordable prices! Until next time.

Run, don’t walk to this fabulous gem of a restaurant. I had the buffet and my husband ordered off the menu. Both exceptionally great food. Roody, the chef needs to be acknowledged. The gumbo soup on the buffet is to die for and honestly could’ve been my entire meal. Best fried chicken I’ve ever had and excellent flounder with shrimp. Service by Bruce spot on and friendly. So worth the price under $50 for 2 with salads, drinks and desserts too! I only wish they would open in Florida! 10+++ We will be back

Hidden gem (accidentally), they need more and bigger signs. The food was amazing for such a small buffet. I wasn't a fan of collard greens, but I am now! So good! The pulled pork BBQ was delicious, but the shrimp and grits stole the show. The atmosphere was quiet and very comfortable, and our server was terrific. We felt welcomed and left very satisfied. Highly recommend for travelers and locals alike!

My compliments to the chef on the shrimp & grits. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the sherry cream, but it pleasantly surprised me by bringing all the flavors together beautifully. This dish delivers a true explosion of flavor that works in harmony rather than competing.
The green and red peppers, onions, scallions, and parsley added bright, well-balanced bursts throughout the dish, and the shrimp was perfectly tender. Every bite felt intentional and satisfying.
This was absolutely the right choice for a birthday celebration and made the meal feel special and memorable. Highly recommend.
The peach cobbler is served hot with with old fashioned vanilla ice cream and is divine.
Stopped by here during our overnight stay from our family winter road trip. So happy we chose Georgia Comfort Kitchen. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with some good 'ol fashioned Southern Hospitality. The dinner buffet was like a warm hug from your grandparents! It was great to get out of the cold and have a hot delicious meal. My only regret is this was a road trip. We left so full! Anytime we are passing through, I will definitely make a pit stop at the GCK. Great food, friendly/professional staff, awesome location.
