  We had a wonderful experience at Georgia Comfort Kitchen in Savannah. We selected the buffet so we could try a little of everything, and it did not disappoint. The fried catfish and fried chicken were cooked to perfection — golden, crispy, and incredibly flavorful. The mashed potatoes were creamy, the collards were seasoned just right, and everything tasted like authentic Southern home cooking. The highlight of the meal was the apple crumble — truly the best I’ve ever had. It alone is worth the visit! Highly recommend.

  I always enjoy the delicious food and friendly service when I come to GCK. I always visit when I come to Savannah. I also like the fact that it’s a clean establishment. The hostess and servers are always nice but one in particular Beth, was exceptional! I was having a particularly rough day and I came in to pick up to-go orders from the bar area. She was helpful with menu item suggestions and just very warm and engaging. My spirits were lifted by the time I left. I look forward to going to GCK when I return to town.

  Our waitress was friendly. The restaurant was clean and had a very calm friendly atmosphere. We found the food to be alright. My husband is from the South and grew up on the things on the menu and he ordered the catfish (he said he wouldn’t order it again) I ordered the chicken strips and salad bar. The salad was good. The chicken strips tasted like the chicken had been soaked in lemon juice. Over all the cost wouldn’t have been bad if we actually ate the food, we didn’t even opt for take home.

  I just dont think this is the place for me. I ate there one time before this in January. At that encounter my food was ok but my husband didnt like his food. He even asked for a different meal and he also didnt like that. So i already knew i was not going to try this place again. But my associates ended up having a event there, so I attended. I did the buffet. There should be more choices on for the buffet. The salad was good(just lettuce and I added some ham to it) and the sweet tea was good. The mashed potatoes were not hot, they were between warm and cold(and im a person who loves their mashed potatoes, its my safe food so for me to not like your mashed potatoes that says alot). The chicken was ok nothing special. The bruinswick stew wasnt good(bitter taste). The baked beans were ok. I can definitely say i won't be back. Even if there is a event happening, I just won't go to the event. Im happy other people enjoy going there. Its just not for me.

  One word to describe my experience..IMPRESSIVE. I can't think of another restaurant in or around town that tastes so good. Every item I had from the buffet was flavorful and well executed. Chef Roody was a pleasure to meet and Bruce provided excellent service (and he was busy). The atmosphere complimented the food and vice versa. My family dined here for Valentine's Day, and I just expected the same ol same old, but what a surprise. GCK has my vote hands down, best restaurant in and around town. They may need to start some sort of point accrual system so I can rack up! I can still taste the food as I leave this post...
