Worst experience. Took over 45 mins to get the first course which was a simple soup. Then my wife’s entire meal came out while I waited and waited then the waitress came to us and said oh I’m sorry the rest of your order didn’t get put in so we will rush your plate out. My wife was finishing and my food came. The noodles were chewy and you could tell the plate was rushed. We were not happy at all with the service or the food for 100+ dollar meal. They didn’t even get my drink right. Simple captain and coke in a tall glass . What did I get, well rum and a short glass. Very disappointed! Left still hungry!

Shockingly terrible experience. I do not plan on ever going back and would advise against anyone considering dining here. I had family visiting for the holidays and we made a reservation here hoping for a nice family dinner. There were six of us total and the bill ended up being over $500. With a price point that high, there are certain expectations. I.e: high quality food, high quality service, and a high quality atmosphere. This restaurant provided none of that. Food: the food was mediocre. I ordered the 10oz herb crusted slow roasted prime rib ($40) which came with a side of garlic mashed potatoes as well as two sides (creamed spinach and asparagus) to share with the entire table. we did not get our food until over 90 minutes after we sat down. When we first arrived, there was a table of three finishing up their meal. They then ordered a desert, ate, paid, and left. The table was cleaned, a new couple sat, ordered, ate, paid, and left, all before our food had arrived. A different table (3) also arrived after us and received their food before us. I understand larger parties can take more time, but I felt this was too much. To make things worse, when our food arrived, all the plates were hot enough to burn. This implied that our entrees had been ready for an extended period of time but had been sitting under a heat lamp while we waited. I enjoyed the creamed spinach, but everything else was bland. I added salt to the food just to give it a little flavor. I didn’t end up finishing. My family was also unhappy with their meals. The lava cake desert was good. Had the service and atmosphere been amazing (they weren’t) , I still would not chose to dine here again because of the food. Service: the service took the cake for the biggest let down of the night. The staff we interacted with were dismissive, patronizing, and plain rude. Our server was a young woman (Mambi?) It was immediately obvious from the first interaction that she did not like us. My family is the type to joke around with our servers to try and make friends and we usually are successful. This was not the case this time and during introductions the jokes clearly did not land and she became very standoffish and rude, getting progressively worse over the course of the meal. Simple interactions such as thanking her for filling the water, or bringing bread to the table were met with complete silence. It made me and the rest of my family feel awkward and uncomfortable. I work with people at my job, so does everyone in my family, so do most people. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and be nice even if you don’t like the people you are interacting with. I’d expect servers at an establishment as expensive as this one to be capable of that. What was most shocking was the behavior of the manager Matthew. When he came to ask how things were going we were honest and told him not great. We were not happy with the experience so far nor the amount of time it took our food to arrive. We received a short, robotic apology and then he walked away, making it clear he did not care about our experience. Further interactions he became defensive and passive aggressive. When he would walk away I could see him talk with our waitress and host, openly gesturing towards us and looking annoyed. By the end of the evening (we’ve now been there for about three hours) the atmosphere was downright hostile. Atmosphere: the actual set up of the place was very nice. But again, a certain price point implies a certain expectation. I spent over an hour dressing up to eat at this place. The hostess was wearing sneakers. Our server had a My Melody (kinda like hello kitty for those unfamiliar) hair clip. I saw at least four people in separate groups wearing sweatshirts and sweatpants. I work somewhere with a dress code. If a customer is not adhering to it, they are asked to either change or leave. I don’t see why that wasn’t the case here and I found it annoying considering how long I spent making sure I was dressed appropriately. All in all, this was a terrible experience. I don’t recommend.

Upon entry it was a nice cozy vibe. they have outside table and inside tables and tables upstairs. we were about 5 minutes late for a 6:30 reservation but they were running behind anyway so that was perfect. they asked us if we wanted to sit inside or out we chose in. they gave us custom menus for my boyfriends birthday that we got to take home. that was so sweet. I ordered the prime rib with the mashed potatoes. very delicious. medium well premie rib was very juicy seared to perfection. my boyfriend had the filet mignon. they first they brought out was a lil too done and a lil charred we sent it back and they got us a dress new one no hassle. the manager came to speak with us he was so sweet. this night was definitely great also our waitress I don’t know her name she was so sweet I forgot her name. best waitress I ever had. definitely will be back. for parking you have to park on the street and walk try to get there early to find parking.

Unfortunately, this was a terrible experience. We are aware it was Christmas and already expected crowds, slower service, etc., but this was beyond anything we have ever seen. Even with a reservation, we waited over 30 minutes for a table, but again we thought okay it is Christmas. From there it got worse and worse. We ordered immediately as it was a holiday menu $75 per person and we had quite enough time to look it over while waiting. We had a younger daughter and asked if they could bring bread for her since she wouldn’t eat the first course at all. From the moment we got in, it took more than 90 minutes to get bread. They just continued to tell us it’s coming now over and over. This became a pattern for every course and every table near us (which was only 3-4 left) at this point. The manager did not provide an apology or issue any form of compensation. Staff was arguing with each other and this continued throughout the whole meal. At the end, after being there over 2 and a half hours, one of the desserts was out and our daughter was literally sleeping. It was a very uncomfortable atmosphere to be in and unfortunately the actual meals didn’t make up for it- the lettuce was brown and the food was just okay. I hope management can come back from a night like this because otherwise this restaurant will continue to go downhill. Other than being with our family, there is nothing positive I can even pull out from this experience. It was unfortunately a big waste of time and money. We recommend any of the other restaurants we have been to in Savannah, but not here.

We were looking for a nice place to have dinner and get away from the crowds near hotel. Cool old historical building. Reservation was at 6 and restaurant had plenty of tables open. They chose the table closest to the bathroom for us. Entire dinner people had to walk by us to go to restroom. Appetizer was calamari. The serving was large, but very over cooked. The only thing that saved it was the sauce and batter which were both good. Hummus and naan plate was good. Fresh tomatoes was a nice touch. Decided to split a plate after the large appetizer servings and went with coconut shrimp. Shrimp were very good and dipping sauces were a nice touch. Server was nice but MIA most of the night. Wife ordered a side of their famous mashed potatoes and was a big miss on their part. 13 bucks for a serving of mediocre spuds. Not horrible, but would go again.
