John was our server on Sunday Nov 16 2025, around 630pm, and I want everyone to know this was the absolute best service I've had in a restaurant in longer than I can remember! (Maybe ever)
Smiles and good humor from the second we were seated! Never an empty drink, had everything we needed within seconds of asking, even the upsale pitch for their current promotion (which I'm sure he was required to perform) was still very funny, fun, and added our pleasant experience!
The food was great, and I couldn't believe we were only in there an hour! It was so fast, but not at all rushed. They were very accommodating.
A few other servers also helped out: keeping drinks filled, running sides and adons to our table, but sadly I didn't catch their names. Everything was just so awesome! Perfect 10 of 10 experience!

Went for the wine dinner experience this week- truly the kindest staff we have ever experienced! Jacob does a wonderful job. All of the servers were incredibly kind and generous. My boyfriend’s allergies were taken incredibly seriously and he was even offered other options rather than just making things “without” for his allergies. Haven’t been to Carrabba’s in over 10 years, and I don’t know why! We will be back.

Carraba's really has been a great restaurant for me & would be for anyone needing to eat guten free, like myself. The gluten free pasta that is used for the g/f chicken alfredo is excellent. I've been to Carraba's in FL and in GA, and both have tasted excellent. And, I must mention the grilled chicken within the chicken alfredo.....it is the best tasting, moist, tender chicken I have ever tasted. I truly can't get over how excellent the chicken tastes. The whole chicken alfredo dish is great and usually makes 2 meals, as the portion size is grand. Of course, it can be a little pricey, but....I feel it's worth it. On top of great g/f options, I love the offer of buying a take home meal for only $10. You can get the same dish or one of equal or lesser value than what you originally purchased for $10 to take home with you. That's an excellent deal. This time, is didn’t buy the $10 take home dish due to having half of my original dish left to take home. I would highly recommend Carraba's, especially to my fellow g/f folks. I love eating at Carraba's!

Had dinner last night at Carrabbas Italian Grill in Savannah ga on Abercorn st.
Arrived at 915 pm and was seated in an abandoned section in the bar area. Tried to order lasagna and was told it wasn’t available so I chose another entree, then the waitress returned saying that some lasagna was found so I agreed to that. It had a taste of being frozen and was completely cold in the center. I had to find my waitress in the food area and she took the lasagna to have it reheated. When she returned the food it was mushy and still only lukewarm. At this point I only ate a few bites and left the rest on the plate to be thrown away. My step father ordered the Salmon entree… a complete disaster, the piece of fish was the absolute smallest portion size I had ever seen. It came with a small scoop of potato’s that were luke warn at best. The entire presentation on the plate resembled a child’s portion. No garnish, no nothing but a huge white plate with a small amount of food. Our server was well aware that we weren’t happy. We just paid the bill leaving hungry and frustrated. We typically love the restaurant but last night was a pitiful example of the restaurant we have enjoyed for well over a decade.

We were there celebrating my son’s birthday. First time there and we wasn’t treated well by our waiter. We had a waiter named Jon or Johnny. His sense of humor was offensive and disrespectful. He kept pushing alcohol on us very aggressive. Finally I had to tell him we were in sobriety. He stopped. I asked him to give me a minute to look over the menu he said I don’t have a minute jokingly I ignored him. Everything we asked him his response was normally or typically. Right then he lost my trust. We wanted to make sure there was no alcohol cooked in our food. He said he couldn’t do anything about it. My husband wanted to change his food immediately Jon tried to discourage him. Again typically you can’t change it unless you pay for it and the wait time is too long. I asked for a manager. I was told the manager was in a meeting and it would be a while. I just didn’t trust him. I’m so glad I did. The manager came right over and apologized. He gladly exchanged his food for us. Jon never brought the dessert menu for my son everything we asked for was delayed. I asked for Alfredo sauce he brought it out cold. I asked another waiter to get me another one she did. When he brought it out he said my son could only pick one that was chocolate my son doesn’t like chocolate after discussing this with the new district manager he said he could bring him a cheesecake we waited 30 minutes and left we never got it. My son is allergic to seafood and told Jon this he got his food it had shrimp in it had to send it back another 30 minute wait before he got a new order. It was one thing after another. Jon started ignoring us I’m assuming he’s was offended after we spoke with the manager. We were charged $11 for 2 Alfredo sauces. $2.50 each the manager told us you get 1 complimentary sauce then after that it’s a charge Jon never told us this. At that point I accepted the fact we ended up with the wrong waiter. It just wasn’t a good experience. Jon needs training and coaching in order for him to be successful at Carrabba’s.
