  Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen never disappoints. This was my first time trying the chargrilled oysters, and they were excellent—full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The sausage and seafood gumbo continues to be a standout—rich, hearty, and consistently delicious. I also have to mention their creamy Italian house dressing, which I absolutely love. Whenever I’m in Atlanta, this is always my first stop.

  Food was not really that great. We got a few steaks one being a ribeye steak that was so fatty it was barely edible and being that we traveled from South Carolina with children we really didn't have the time to wait for another especially after waiting for 2 hours to be seated. The appetizers was really good. Loved being in an establishment with all people of color for sure. Menu should have more options as well. It was my first time coming and I was told it used to be better.

  I walked in the door, asked the waitress what’s good she instantly replied everything! And yeah, she was right. The blackened catfish was probably the best I’ve ever had and I’ve traveled all over the country. The grits don’t have cheese in them, which is a huge plus and the baked potato is the size of two fist I am very much so coming back to this place. It’s classy yet dress down. It’s in a great location plenty of parking if you’re staying at the hotel next-door, this is the only place to eat. I reviewed a lot of places over the years, but this one just stands out and the price is way under the value that you’re getting not to say I want them to increase it. Enjoy.

  My sister and I planned a trip to this establishment, because we haven’t been in a while. We had a small wait that wasn’t as long as expected. Our server Ethan was was absolutely phenomenal! We were so hungry we wanted everything. We suggested great appetizers. I was undecided on my dinner, but the recommendation he chose was the sea bass. My oh my it was a delight! The food and ambience was top tier. But the service that Ethan gave to us was beyond expectional! When you go to this location, ask for Ethan. I promise you will not be disappointed! I look forward to my next trip to that neck of the woods. And we’ll definitely ask for Ethan! Great experience!

  My wife and I decided to take a trip tonight to Pappadeaux's Seafood Kitchen for dinner, and unfortunately our first experience was very disappointing. We drove roughly four hours to get there, excited to finally try the restaurant. When we arrived on a Saturday night, we were told the wait time would be long. In reality, we ended up waiting about an hour and a half just to be seated, finally getting our table around 9:00 PM. Once seated, we ordered quickly at around 9:15 PM. Our appetizers and soup came out in a reasonable amount of time, and those were good. After finishing those, however, the night started going downhill. We waited another 45 minutes to an hour for our entrées, only to have them arrive incorrect. During that time we repeatedly asked our waiter about our food, and each time he simply said “it’s on the way.” What made the situation more frustrating was that four other tables who were seated after us ordered, received their meals, ate, and left before we even got our first plate of food. When our entrées finally arrived and were not what we ordered, the manager did come out and apologize, and to their credit they comped the meal while they worked to correct the order. However, by the time the correct food came out, we had been there so long that I had completely lost my appetite. Between the four-hour drive to get there, the hour-and-a-half wait just to be seated, and well over an hour waiting on the corrected entrée, the entire experience turned into a very long night. The service itself was okay, and I still left the waiter a tip because I know restaurant nights can get hectic. But for our first visit, the overall experience was highly disappointing, especially after traveling that far and waiting that long. Hopefully this was just an unusually bad night, but based on this visit, it was not the experience we were expecting.
