Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- BMBiscuit Maton2 days ago3.0Service can be spotty... sometimes they are rude and make you feel rushed, and the quality of food reflects those times because it will be cold...or sometimes out of ketchup. Sometimes the service is friendly and the quality of food is better.

Then, when we got to the window, our food was made wrong and when this was brought up, the cashier literally said it "was a hassle" and overcharged us for the wrong meal. Definitely won't be back, which is a shame because their shakes are actually really good.

He said he was very pleased with the smash burger he ordered...but the chosen 'fancy ketchup' as shown on the ticket was more like 'invisible' ketchup 😋. No biggie...didn't take away from the star of the show...the burger that is. I did not partake in the meal, only an offsides observer (pescatarian) during this snack attack.
