- BJBrenda Jones5 days ago1.0This is my first Five Guy's experience. They were running a special, so I had to use the app to get the special. I forgot to say I wanted cheese on the burgers. I offered to pay the difference to have the cheese added. And they said, no, let me just give you the cheese. That was nice. When the order was ready, they were calling numbers not names. The place was packed because of a special they were running. When I went back to ask if the order was ready. He asked for my number and I told him I didn't know, he asked my name and looked thru the completed orders to find it and handed it to me. When I got home the sandwiches didn't have the bacon on them. I really like bacon on my hamburger so this was a fail for me.

The hot dog meat itself was harder (not in a good, crispy way), and seemingly tasted a little uncooked somehow. It was warm, however. My topping not being added, made a huge difference in my hot dog, and I typically never have an issue with Five Guys. I probably should have checked my hot dog prior to leaving, but the way they wrap their hot dogs so tight, I simply chose to trust that they'd easily remember ONE topping to add. Thankfully, they don't charge for toppings. But, without my additional topping, I wouldn't of even ordered this, altogether. So, still a waste of money

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
