I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and headed to the store about 15 minutes later. When I walked in, there were no other customers in line or in the lobby. The music was extremely loud — loud enough that you couldn’t really hear anything else. A young employee yelled from the kitchen asking if I had an order. I said yes and pointed to my name on the pickup screen. He stayed in the back and didn’t acknowledge me further until another employee came out and asked if I needed help. I again pointed to my name, and she retrieved my order from what appeared to be a warming area. Once I got back to my truck and opened the bag, I found one small Styrofoam container inside a very large bag — no napkins, no wet wipes, no ranch, nothing extra at all. The sandwich itself was hot and the flavor was good, so the food quality wasn’t the issue. Overall, the experience just felt inattentive and unwelcoming. With the music blasting and employees seemingly disengaged, customer service definitely took a back seat. I may try a different Wingstop location in the future, but with so many great wing spots in the area, this particular one has some work to do if they want to keep customers coming back.
