Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    First time trying this franchise. I asked the lady for a recommendation and she told me about a avocado burger on toast. So I got the meal along with 2 kids meals. I was the only person in the lobby at the time so it wasn't busy at all. I didnt check my bag like I should have and just took it and proceeded home. When I got home, I realized they missed my medium fry with my avocado burger. Not a huge deal but it does suck for my first experience. The food was decent but nothing to boast about too much. All in all, decent but please get the full order right! Especially when you are charging top dollar. 40$ for 1 meal, 2 kids meal, and 1 sandwich by itself. Seems pricey, but not if the food is delicious and my order is right.

    Save yourself a headache and visit any other location. We’ve been here twice now and both times our food was soggy and cold, we didn’t receive our drinks, it took 30 minutes despite there being nobody there, and the employees couldn’t seem to figure out the iPad system. We had a horrendous first experience, so the manager offered us a free meal the next time we visit. Next time we came, we showed the employee the free meal email and she said she would take the meal off. She couldn’t figure out how, so she ended up charging us full price and lied about it. The manager a said he would refund us and they still have not.

    Unfortunately there's limited parking spots at this location. We should've left but we went inside anyway tried to place our order. The cashier wasn't trained or didn't understand the whataburger's rewards program. Ironically the reason why there weren't any parking spots and limited seating inside was they were having whataburger's training. After another employee helped the cashier out order was a little bit different. The $9.99 whatawings hyn 9 pc. was terrible, fries $3.49were extremely salty and cold, the $8 chicken fajitas was ok wouldn't order it again, the $2.99 soda was flat. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like any of the whataburger's in GA really care about quality or customers. Removing the whataburger's app. Not sure if we'll try them again in Texas or FL. but at least in those states they had quality and cared about their customer.

    First time st this location and it was a great experience. Had a large order. It came out fast and correct. The entire staff was super friendly, even offered extra napkins snd condiments brought to our table when they brought out our to go order. Everyone there is so upbeat and doing great for being so new. For sure coming back! Already LEAGUES better than the rude and slow McDonald's next door. Food tastes so much better too!

    Can speak to the atmosphere of the place since I went through drive-thru, but I can 100% say that from the time I placed my order, to the time I reached the window, three cars were serviced with zero hiccups. The associates actually remembered my order, knew how to accept my payment via the app and they actually smiled. With the amount of traffic coming in and out of the place, they were keeping up at a rapid pace. Would definitely recommend this location to other's if your in the McDonough area.
