  I walked into tropical smoothie cafe at 10:25a to pick up an order I’d placed at 8:37a on 2/22/26. I unfortunately had to get into work so I didn’t have time to pick it up as soon as i placed it. i ordered the cherry berry with greek yogurt. i arrived and there were 3 young women working. They were in a circle talking and i greeted them as i walked in. I told them my name, and I saw my smoothie had been sitting out on the counter. It had been 2 hours since I’d ordered, so I told the lady at the register with the stud nose ring, and short ponytail with brown highlights that I wished it’d been in the fridge, calmly but knowing that it had to be against food standards. Her and employee Kennedy laughed. The one with brown highlights said “ok” continued chuckling, and said “sorry about that” while laughing. I cannot make this up. I was thrown off, and continued placing an in store order. While placing the order, Kennedy said something to the woman with the highlights checking me out and the woman replied “sounds like you want me to beat your ass” to Kennedy verbatim. I knew they were joking, but I was shocked at the behavior they displayed in front of me and another customer. After sitting for a few minutes, i decided to speak up about the smoothie that had been sitting out for up to 2 hours. I understand I was late to pick it up, but any other establishment would store it in the fridge. I explained I was concerned because my smoothie had dairy in it. The woman, Angeline or Angelique, remade my smoothie with no argument and I was thankful. Angeline is the only worker with a decent attitude and ready to work. The other two are extremely unprofessional, make backhanded comments, and have no respect for the customer. In case this is hard to understand, I would love a manager to follow up with me asap. I was extremely disappointed in the establishment as i have never been treated like this in any other location.

  It should not take 20 minutes for a smoothie. One young lady took 10 minutes washing all the blenders when she had three people waiting in smoothies. She kept saying that everything on the board was done, it wasn’t and she erased the board. At the Hwy 20 location on Friday at 6:18pm. Nobody changing gloves. Three people here only one making drinks. Getting my money back.

  This is the worst tropical smoothie I've ever visited. Made an online order the took my money and pulled up at store for them to be closed. When I called to get refund they can't seem to provide that like it was my fault store was closed that day.

  I stopped in today to get a smoothie at my son's request. I was barely acknowledged when I walked in and witnessed the entire staff, laughing and joking amongst themselves. The girl working the register never asked "how can I help you". She just stood their as if I was waiting on her. I was not thanked for coming in or acknowledged when I said thank you. The service these places provide today is awful and not worth my hard earned dollars. I will not be back, for myself or anyone else.

  I come to this Tropical Smoothie because it's 5 minutes from the house. And as much as I come here, no one really seems to make a connection with the customer. This makes the customer experience tough to bare. I've gone to other Tropical Smoothies and the customer service is way better. So this tells me that its just the experience I've had here. Customers are a driving force of a business. If I have to feel uncomfortable walking into an atmosphere because the workers make it uncomfortable, then there is a real issue with customer service. I've tried on several occasions to be nice because I understand food business. So I try to extend grace everywhere I go. But after the event that occurred today, this was the last straw. Something has to be said. For me to complain, means that I was clearly disrespected.
