  I placed an online pickup order at 8:13 PM for Moreau’s World Famous Macaroni in McDonough, GA. I arrived at the store at 8:20 PM only to be told my order had already been picked up by DoorDash — which made absolutely no sense because I did NOT place a delivery order, did not enter an address, and received no delivery notifications whatsoever (including no activity on my door camera). The clerk then contacted Miriam Moreau, who apparently said there was “nothing they can do” with online orders. To make matters worse, the clerk put her personal cell phone on speaker, and I was forced to speak with a Mr. Scott, who was extremely rude and dismissive. He repeatedly claimed I “did an order” and insisted I contact DoorDash — even though DoorDash was NOT involved in my order at all. Not only was my order not remade, I was also told that I could not remain in the store because they were closed, even though the mistake happened on their end and my food was given to someone else outside the store. No effort was made to correct the issue or take accountability for the error. At 8:55 PM, nearly 40 minutes later, a DoorDash driver finally walked into the store holding a bag and stated she had been given the wrong order. So let me get this straight — DoorDash came to pick up pizza and somehow walked out with pasta? That alone shows how disorganized this place is. Word of advice: train your employees better. Less time on their phones and more time paying attention to orders. This entire situation was mishandled from start to finish — no accountability, no customer service, and no effort to fix a problem they caused. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to think twice before ordering online from this location.

  I ordered salmon, shrimp and spinach fettuccine with alfredo sauce. I had quite a bit going on that day while preparing for the holiday at home. I had a long morning and decided on what exactly I wanted to eat and had never been to Moreaus but wanted to try them after passing by a few weeks prior and seeing a good sized customer line ordering inside as I drove by. As I went inside for the first time I was warmly greeted immediately, but I totally confused on how to order when the kiosk caught my eye. Unfortunately, I was on my cellphone with someone who had never heard of the establishment and they had more questions than I had. Needless to say, I was unable to navigate the kiosk but was told by the counter person that they were there to help and would prefer exactly what I wanted. So I placed my order and then noticed I was missing my wallet. I was unable to do Zelle, CashApp or PayPal but they did offer an option of electronic payment that I was unfamiliar with. So I headed back home and quickly returned where my order was hot and ready. The only thing that upset me was I forgot to order garlic bread and sliced tomatoes. I tried to order the tomatoes and bread upon my return but by this time I was starving and wanted to return home. The counter server wanted to make my experience right and asked several times to add tomatoes and I felt like such a hungry burden at that point but I already knew I'd be back after feeling the weight of my serving size when I lifted it from the counter. The meal had such a beautiful presentation (sorry no picture) and omgoodness it was absolutely DELICIOUS!! I usually don't overeat but I had no choice but to. So glad that I didn't get the garlic bread but next time I definitely will. I highly recommend this spot and I look forward to my return. Great service, Great food, Great price!

  I'm very big on customer service, fresh food and negative energy .... There's definitely a cultural issue and lack of respect from the staff, I'll NEVER go back to the location on Hwy 20 in Macdonough. There's been a change in management or something since Novembe, the chicken has a rubbery taste and the pasta is 1 to 2 days old with brown ends.... The food and customer service was actually fair and friendly about 4 months ago, now the atmosphere is weird
