Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- GVGinny Velazquez6 days ago1.0We tried to make Whataburger Wednesday a part of our weekly routine, but this location is determined to drive us away. After several months of giving them opportunity after opportunity, they have yet to have our order ready in a timely manner, or ever completely correct. They leave items out, make things incorrectly, forget where they put our orders when they were placed in advance so that we by the time we get them they are cold… So many problems. The managers we have spoken to don't seem to care and just kind of say "oh well" as they make excuses. We were super excited to have a Whataburger location near us, but we are done trying with them. It is a waste of our money, time, energy, and frustration.

Not much flavor, service was slow, and nobody was at the front counter or even visible from the lobby unless you go out looking for them. Surprised im even giving a 3 star, BUT you never know, maybe it was just this location..
- BSBlair SweeneyApr 2, 20263.0Great food, but they are SO SLOW!!! It’s like they have to slaughter the cow before they can make your burger. And call in a butcher from home (an hour away) to dispatch the cow. Once you get the burger, it’s really good, but you will have wasted an afternoon in the drive-thru. Pay attention to the bag that they hand you because, despite taking a full day to serve you, the order is almost never right. They also seem to run out of buns with some regularity.

Staff is rude, checked out, jaded, and couldn’t care less about the customer standing in front of them. (prices are insane too but that’s chain wide) And the wait times? Absurd. waited 25+ minutes for a single burger and meal.
