I’m writing this review after a very disappointing experience today. We’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, but today the service was not worth the cost.
Our server was very nice, but the overall service was extremely poor. Our party of 12 was seated and no menus were brought out, we had to ask for them ourselves. When drink orders were taken, two people were completely missed. For some reason everyone’s drinks got delivered to the table minus mine. It then took an additional 35 plus minutes for my drink to arrive and with the wrong rim. After waiting so long, I didn’t bother asking for it to be corrected.
Someone then requested extra butter with their meal after it arrived, they had to ask a second time after waiting forever, and it didn’t arrive until everyone else had already finished eating. During another drink round, one person’s beer arrived 20 plus minutes after everyone else’s. When we asked for cold glasses for the bottled beers, we were brought regular glasses instead (not cold).
Given how much our party spent, the level of service was unacceptable. It felt like our server was more focused on smaller tables nearby rather than our large group. This was a very disappointing experience compared to what we’ve come to expect here.
This place wasssss packed! Just walking in and you already smell the air of yummy goodness. By far one of the best Tex-mex I have found.
They make their own fresh tortillas. It is so soft and so good.
There are a couple of plates that you can order and easily share among your table and desserts!
Definitely will come back and try more dishes.
I don’t know how busy they are on weekdays, but I highly recommend making a reservation on weekends.

From the reviews I thought I would have a better experience. It didn't seem to be overly crowded but for the party of 15 that I was with maybe groups are not their specialty or maybe this was an off night. It was my first time i never recieve all that I ordered along with a few others at the table. The food was okay. I did have to send my order back The queso and the beans that came with meal is what I enjoyed the best.

Had a great experience at Pappasito’s! The food was really good, we started with the queso and ground beef and it did not disappoint. Perfect way to kick things off. I ordered the full rack of ribs and they were flavorful, tender, and cooked just right.
Courtney was our server and she was amazing, super attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!
We had an 8:00 pm Saturday reservation for four. We arrived a few minutes early and checked in, then watched multiple parties repeatedly approach the host stand, clearly frustrated. Two groups told us they also had reservations and had already been waiting over an hour.
After 45 minutes with no table, the host, who was snarky from the start, told us we were on a “priority list” and sarcastically asked what I expected him to do, throw people out so we could be seated. I asked to speak with a manager. After hearing the situation, his response was to cancel our reservation entirely.
I was not rude. I simply pointed out that it’s unacceptable to take reservations you can’t honor while continuing to seat walk-ins.
We left and had an excellent meal at Cherokee Chop House, better food and professional service without the attitude.
Pappasito's Cantina has lost us as customers permanently.
