  I really wanted to give this place a 5 star. I could not because every time we eat here the staff isn’t very friendly. On two separate occasions the staff seem very annoyed or did not prioritise my privacy. We are in person for the first time here and my husband ordered the cozy fries and he asked for an extra hot honey. I’m filling up my drink and clearly heard him request to be charged for an extra hot honey. But the cashier claimed she didn’t charge him for one although the receipt reflects he was. She then claims well just because we order delivery online that the cosy fries don’t come with a free hot honey when in-person. But that isn’t true because we have ordered delivery online atleast several times in the last month and each time the fries come with a hot honey and we add an extra one. Instead of arguing with the cashier I just went ahead and paid the 80 cent again but they need to advise their cashiers what items are served with what. The Hispanic girl with glasses was are cashier and was very rude but we remained calm because obviously we like the food we eat here often since moving to GA 3 months ago.

  We came into the restaurant at 8:35 and ordered our food. We did not get our food until 910 and the old lady with glasses at the cash register kicked us out said we had to leave and she closed all the trash bins. We defied her word and stayed there and then when we came to leave, she said “I told you we closed the trash bins so you have to take your trash”. I left the trash outside at the front so that way the management can see it! They mixed up the orders and very rude for ordering $100 worth of food. The chicken tenders were very greasy.

  Horrible i keep giving them chances being they are right across the street from my job they always serve me old chicken I had fresh chicken 1 time from them and it was so good but my last 3 visits my chicken was old and nasty... such a disappointment, I will not be returning

  Not often that I go to Kennesaw area. So being that I was in the area, I took advantage & gave Cozy Coop a try! The menu items are soulful (southern) dishes, but "FOR ME" the flavors weren't. And I say that solely to my own liking & standards. Not to say their flavors aren't tasteful. But what was mid (ok tasting), were the biscuits & fried okra! And what was excellent, the customer service by all who I encountered, and specially given by the young lady working the front & took my order this evening, Feb 4th. The establishment was clean, organized & prices were very reasonable 👌🏽 I'd recommend to at least try it for yourself, it's definitely worth a try.

  I think I have Finally found some damn good soul food in Georgia!!! I was Skeptical but I’m so glad we tried the food. I ate it too fast for pics 😝. We ordered the Meat +3 sides. The chicken wings are so darn good! The greens are fabulous not too salty cooked perfectly, the sweet potatoes were made just right! And wow those red beans and rice with the cornbread was so tasty!! 10/10 highly recommend. Lastly but very important the price is spot on!!! My first time and will not be my last! My go to spot now for soul food.
