  Me and my family went there on 4-7-26 I wanted some good southern cooking that felt like grandma's cooking some comfort food because i had just gotten the news that my mammy passed away and that's exactly how it tasted It was the best chicken mac and cheese yams coleslaw and biscuits ive had in a long time we will definitely be back. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. 10/10 only down side is its 30 minutes away I wish it was closer!

  Got two dinners and the macaroni was old in both orders not fresh you could tell it had been sitting wasnt creamy looking this was at 8 pm.

  First time here. Tried it out after seeing on tick tock and it was not a disappointment. Beans and rice on point chicken. You can taste the seasoning. Good job!

  This place is awesome! Amazing Fried Chicken! Its like your southern moms best cooking. Cornbread, Biscuits and Chicken are all amazing. "I dont like it when you got leftovers so give me some of those collard greens" 😋. Came here to celebrate the return of Family Force 5 and was blown away by the homemade recipe for the fried chicken. Prices are outstanding too, free refills! Love this place, the owner was very kind aswell!

  I see a lot of reviews about the customer service, but no one seems to be specific about what’s actually happened. Additionally, I see the Cozy Coop responses about consistency and high quality customer service, but clearly they’re missing some vital information because the customer service is still extremely spotty… so, I’ll offer some clarity. This is at the Kennesaw location off Barrett Parkway. Went today to the drive through, ordered my food (which is lowkey on the pricier side compared to its competitors but the food is good, so meh) and encountered the young black woman with braids. She always has a snippy attitude, but today I guess she was having a truly bad day. When I pull up to the window, I ask her to change one of my drinks for me. She storms off (who cares, that’s normal for her) and comes back to hand me the drinks. What she doesn’t know is I was on the phone with someone and ending the call, so as she hands me the drinks I start situating them and by the time I turn back to her to say thank you, she yells “you’re welcome” at me and closes the window and walks off. I waited until she came back and gave her a very direct thank you and left. Truth is, she consistently has a poor attitude every time I encounter her. The complaints from my family are consistent with her as well. There are some nice workers at the restaurant, but the standard is clearly not uniform. The prices are not competitive enough for people to deal with that kind of hostility every time they come to your location. I’d highly recommend letting her go - she has been like this for the entirety of the time I’ve been going there. I don’t know who’s forcing her to work this job she so clearly hates, but it’s a really bad look for Cozy Coop. Hoping she finds something that makes her much happier, but I probably won’t return to that location just to avoid her.
