Everything was great- the staff was friendly; the restaurant APPEARED clean; my order was prepared and I left. However when I opened the container with my salad, I got more than I bargained for - a fly was crawling through the salad. To say I was beyond disgusted is an understatement. How did a live fly get inside the salad? And it was not at the top of the salad but midway. WTH! Although the manager apologized profusely (I had a video of it as proof) and gave me a replacement salad, I can’t stop thinking about the what ifs - suppose I had not seen it and took a forkful of salad with they fly and crunched down on it? There certainly needs to be some better sanitation methods performed at this location and probably all. BEWARE when eating at Panera. I wish I could post the video. I posted two Pictures showing the fly inside the container

But employees not helpful at all. I had all info on my phone as I waited for them to do something but they just trying to make it look like I made a mistake, asking if maybe I ordered for a different location, or did I order for another day. I was reading the correct info from my confirmation but they never bothered to look at it. They then became more concerned with whether their online system was down, never addressing my situation. After 7-8 minutes I told them to just keep it as I had to get to work (which I had also mentioned while I was there). Wasted $13.00.
