  Great and I mean great Pizza. It is made fresh in house as is all ingredients. The owner is very involved in the experience and you get the authentic hard working aura around the place. The pizza crust is hand made and a great even cook. The pizza types are unique and unlike anything in the area. Give MVP a shot. It is worth the cash. Wings are truly smoked and the flavor is fantastic. A great balance of flavors. This place is special.

  This exact location has had at least 4 different pizza joints, and all of them have been underwhelming to the point of bankruptcy. Mercer Village Pizza is no different. Upon entering, we had to navigate around a random piece of gym equipment just in the middle of the floor. After finding a seat, the only words we heard from the waitress for the first 7 minutes were "sorry" or "so sorry, be right with you." With the amount of oxygen wasted on apologies, she could've taken our order or at least our drinks. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and some of their smoked wings. The pizza was a pool of grease, requiring 3 napkins to make a single slice edible, only to realize it's just reheated Sysco food. The wings somehow surpassed this pizza in inadequacy. I was surprised they were not clucking when they came out due to the amount of feathers on them. I suppose those are the only certifiably fresh things in this glorified school cafeteria, at the risk of insulting school cafeterias.

  Great spot. Best pizza in town as far as taste/texture. Crispy crust with cornmeal dusting in the bottom, nobody else is doing that in Macon GA. Reasonably priced, great location next to Mercer. Owner is hands in with everything, but super friendly and very passionate about his craft. Peach prosciutto Boursin pizza was amazing. Great muffuletta as well.
