- WRWinston RouseApr 2, 20261.0If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Every shortcut they could take in preparing your food or providing you with what you pay for they will take. If it saves the management and owners money at this location, they’re going to do it and that means even giving you paper plates versus giving you the Dairy Queen boxes. They consistently charge you for extra sauce without giving you the sauces. Then when I asked how many sauces comes with the meal, they will tell you one or two, but then charge you for the one or two that you get. The health rating is not displayed unless you go through the drive-through and then it’s covered up Save your money stop somewhere else or drive 10 minutes down the road to the next Dairy Queen.

I’ve noticed this at other DQ’s too. If I’m going to pay almost $8 for an ice cream, GIVE ME MY MONEY’S WORTH! It’s ridiculous.

My daughter has gotten a strawberry cheesecake blizzard cake for her birthday the last few years and when we went to a different location to place the order, their “cake person” wasn’t available so the order was cancelled. THANK GOODNESS FOR THE LOCUST GROVE DQ. We didn’t even know this location existed, but we’ll be returning to this one from now on. Cake was perfect. Daughter was happy, so I was happy.
