An absolute disappointment!
Should have known something was off when they brought out a very small amount of salsa with chips and then the server didn’t come back for a while…the restaurant was empty.
We ordered a carne asada, a burrito loco, and a kid’s meal quesadilla. The best plate was the kid’s meal.
The carne asada was a thin, single piece of meat and the side of beans and rice was less than the kid’s meal! The burrito was supposed to have all kids of meat, but there was more tortilla than filling.
The flavor of the food wasn’t bad, but if it hadn’t been for the chips we would’ve left hungry. Never returning and leaving a review in hopes no one else wastes their money again.

The food was decent. I was treated as a person and not a number. The selection was good. I would definitely choose this place again.

Disappointing and frustrating experience, and based on other reviews, it seems to be a pattern. We came for a family celebratory dinner, but the patio was completely quiet due to non-working speakers, which made the atmosphere feel off.
Our server was new and doing her best, and the greeter at the door was kind, so no issues there. Unfortunately, management was cold and rude, and it did not feel like a welcoming experience at all. There was no effort to offer any solution or rectify the situation.
I ordered a cherry margarita that was extremely too sweet and sour and only took two sips before asking to swap it. Management refused, which was frustrating for an $18 drink that was barely touched. My enchilada was also served cold, and the sauce was sweet!
Overall, the experience didn’t match the price point and was disappointing for what was supposed to be a special night.
The food lacked flavor and authentic seasoning. The charro beans tasted like water. The drinks and service are the two things saving this place. I wished it would have remained Bay Breeze anyway. We have enough Mexican restaurants in the area and with food like this, they can't compete.

Our waitress Natalie was very nice, informative, and helpful during our visit. Unfortunately, the food and management experience were disappointing.
We ordered a birria pizza and a local burrito. The meat on the birria pizza was extremely dry, and although the server explained it was prepared that way so the pizza holds together, the pizza ended up barely being touched because it just wasn’t enjoyable.
At the end of the meal we simply asked for extra birria sauce so we could take the pizza home and try to redip the meat ourselves. We were told there would be an upcharge, so I asked to speak with the manager. We explained that we weren’t asking for a refund or replacement even though the meal wasn’t good, just a little extra sauce. After some back and forth, the manager Crystal finally brought it.
However, the interaction afterward felt very unprofessional. When I tried to get her attention and accidentally called her the wrong name, she rolled her eyes and showed visible frustration. That kind of reaction from a manager was disappointing and made the situation uncomfortable.
Because of the food quality and the manager’s attitude, I won’t be returning.
As a bartender, this is my first time ever having a shot that tasted like it had been watered down. It honestly seemed like water had been mixed into the drink.
