Been here once before a couple months ago. Back then, a gentleman who seemed to still be in training took our order—he was friendly, just learning the system, and needed some help from a trainer to finish it. We got our food with no complaints and left, only to realize they’d given me someone else’s bagel. No big deal—we turned around, got the correct one, and ended up leaving with an extra bagel.
Fast forward to today, and the same guy is still at the front counter. As we reached the front of the line, the same woman who was training him last time stepped in to take our order. No greeting—just “what can I get for you today?” When I asked to build a bagel, she responded with “what meat?” I said turkey, and she followed up, even more abruptly, “what turkey, like deli meat?” That threw me off since I didn’t know there were multiple options. I asked what she meant, and she replied, “turkey sausage.” At that point I just rushed through the rest of my toppings because it didn’t seem like she had any interest in guiding the order or asking follow-ups.
We ordered drinks as well—an energy spritz and a caramel coffee. The coffee was great, no complaints there. But when I got the spritz, it was noticeably underfilled—about an inch from the top. When I asked if it could be filled a bit more since I paid for a large, she said “we’re out of Monster,” then walked away without offering any alternative like topping it off with lemonade or anything else.
I might’ve given this place another chance, but when we got home, I found a hair on my bagel. At that point, it just wasn’t worth it. The food has potential, but the service brings the whole experience down too much.
