I wanted to share some feedback about my delivery order packaging. The food itself may be fine, but the way the order was packaged did not feel safe or secure at all. The bag was left completely open with no tamper-proof seal, no sticker over the top, and it was not stapled shut in any way.
That means the delivery driver could have easily accessed my food before it got to me, and I would have had no way of knowing. In today’s world, that is a serious concern. Customers should be able to trust that their food has not been opened or tampered with during delivery.
For delivery orders, CAVA really needs to do better by sealing the bag properly before it leaves the restaurant. This is a basic food safety and customer trust issue.

Today I went to Cava, ordered my food in the store and somehow, the cashier gave me the wrong bowl. By the time I got home, got myself together, sat down and started stirring my food up... I realized I was missing damn near EVERYTHING I had ordered. I work on that side of town but I live about an hour away. Too far to go back tonight, especially with high gas prices and my car unexpectedly drinking it faster, so i called the restaurant. The manager, Sherlyn, was such a pleasure. She understood my situation and was willing to work with my schedule for me to come back in to fix my order. Really appreciative of that.
Even though I ended up with the wrong order and couldn't eat it because of the toppings mixed in, the customer service wasn't horrible and from my past experiences, the food was good so I don't doubt my bowl tonight would've been good too. I'm sure it was a simple mistake, so I won't give a bad review. But, it's not a 5 star review because that mistake still inconvenienced me.

I actually love cava but everytime I come to this location they’re out of something. It doesn’t matter what time of the day it is. It’s very disappointing when you drive 20+ minutes for something for them to stay out of it. you shouldn’t open if you don’t have something. I have also experienced two issues with gift cards. For Christmas my mom sent me a digital cava gift card, I used my barcode to scan it and they said it wasn’t working. Keep in mind I went two days after I got the gift card and never had used it. The manager tried to make me pay when it’s not my issue your system doesn’t work. I ended up getting my bowl after paying and when I went to another location they had no issues.

I wanted to take the time to write a review for Cava. I actually stopped going to Chipotle just so I could start coming here because the food is really good. However, during some of my visits when ordering my food, I’ve experienced poor service. One employee named Martinez and another woman whose name I unfortunately didn’t get were not very helpful, and the experience wasn’t pleasant.
It didn’t get better until I went to check out yesterday. I had picked up my 93-year-old grandmother from Union City and was taking her to Dave Kirk Chevrolet in Kennesaw. We stopped to grab something to eat because I thought Cava would be a healthier option for her. Unfortunately, we still experienced bad service during that visit.
I truly enjoy the food here, which is why I keep coming back, but the customer service needs improvement. Everyone should be treated kindly and equally, and food should be prepared the way the customer requests, not how the employee prefers to make it. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.

UPDATE: (I want to note that my aunt Anita Thomas left a review as well of our experience and I discovered she was given the wrong name this past Wednesday, when asked the server said Martinez but another worker called her by name and I heard the name Marcia.) The customer service has been terrible my past few visits. I came during lunch time today & dined in. The lady who started my bowl off always has an attitude. She is super mean and refused to remake my bowl due to her own mess up and not listening, so I asked another server to remake it instead and them she mugged me with a death stare when she became aware that someone else was remaking my bowl. I asked for a manager and was shocked to even believe that she was the manager at this time including other visits that had issues previously. The girl on toppings was no help either, she called the lady to come over by name and the name was marcia. People like marcia do not need to work in food. She had zero patience, very unfriendly, and was skimpy on the portions intentionally. And if someone from corporate would like to follow up with me about this please do so because her service is below the bar.
