This place absolutely slaps! Took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and I couldn't be more impressed. For the price, the portions are VERY generous and the quality is outstanding 👌! Do try it if you're ever in the area! 10/10

Friendly, very accommodating service. Food was very tasty! Injera had a nice tangy flavor. The tilapia Tibs was cooked nicely, with just the right amount of spice and spiciness. The gomen was also very good. Competitively priced, especially for the area. Glad to have found this Johns Creek gem.

I had a great takeout experience from Ethiopiques Cafe and Restaurant. The ordering process was smooth, and everything was ready right on time, which made pickup quick and hassle-free. The food itself was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and packaged carefully so it stayed warm and intact during the ride home. The spices were perfectly balanced, and you can really tell there’s authenticity in every dish. The injera was soft and fresh, and the portions were generous enough to enjoy even later. What stood out most was the consistency and quality, even for takeout. Sometimes food loses its charm once it’s boxed up, but that definitely wasn’t the case here. If you’re craving Ethiopian food and want something reliable for takeout, this place delivers both in taste and service.

LIVE MUSIC!! BEST food experience in Atlanta area in a long time! My wife and I came here for a date night, it was recommended by a friend, so we decided to give it a shot. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Casual but elegant, beautiful guitar music played live in the corner (it was a Saturday night), lots of food options, spicy for me and not-spicy for her. We did the right thing: we split the 2-person Special - a literally giant platter of 2 meats (we got steak and lamb) and 5 vegetable side dishes, all sitting in one massive spread, and surrounded by this amazingly soft rolled bread that was gluten free (it didn’t upset my stomach at all, which alone is a miracle!). They showed us how to unroll pieces of the bread and use it to scoop up the meat and veggies (I was totally doing it taco style). Super fun to eat family style with your hands/bread. Forks totally optional. Somehow it made the food even more delicious. Everything was good quality. My wife is Italian (born in Milan) and very hard to please with restaurant food. This food she loved. Natural, healthy, home cooked style, every bite flavorful, no after-meal digestive regret. Pure bliss. She wants to come back (which is rare for her!) and we’ll be bringing many friends here with us to eat family style. We loved the live music, the kind staff, the culture, the whole vibe. It’s a gem. And the price is right. Two people can eat like kings for $40-$50 which is half what we typically have to spend when we eat out for date night. We added their amazing coffee at the end (for just $3!!) which the chef came out and made for us. If you ever been to Italy or the Middle East, you know you have to have a sip of high quality coffee after a good meal. So delicious! We’ll be back!

Easily the best Ethiopian food I have ever had in my life! We got the steak and chicken tibs, and without a doubt, they were some of the best seasoned and prepared dishes that my friend and I have had the opportunity to try. Additionally, the service was attentive, warm, and friendly with a relaxing vibe. The kind of place that feels like you’ve been invited into someone’s home. The coffee ceremony was incredible and an absolute must for anyone. We were there for almost 2 hours and can’t wait to come back!
