I had one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had here. My order was completely wrong, so I politely let the waitress know. A few minutes later, she came back with the same plate and said, “The owner said if you want the order remade, you’ll have to order it again and pay for both orders.”
Naturally, we asked to speak with the owner directly, but he refused to come to our table. Instead, he sent a lady manager over who immediately began arguing with us, repeating that we’d have to pay for the wrong order and then pay again for the correct one. Her reasoning? “Well, they made this one.”
I told her she could come up with a hundred excuses, but there’s absolutely no excuse for trying to make a customer pay for two meals just to get what they initially ordered.
There is nothing like having food you don’t want forced on you — to pay for it, eat it, or at least take it home with you. After all that, the manager still asked if we wanted the wrong order boxed up to go. Absolutely not. We didn’t want it then, and we definitely didn’t want it later. They were determined to make us pay for this wrong order.
In the end, we didn’t order a remake and we didn’t pay for the wrong order. It was hands down one of the most awkward restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I was so ready to leave and just get out of there — and honestly, now it’s super awkward to even think about going back.
Why would I give this place my money?

Had an extremely weird encounter at JP in hickory flat. Ordered the Alfredo, and when the food came to the table I noticed it was made with spaghetti noodles. Last time we went it was made with rigatoni pasta. I explained to the server I thought the Alfredo came with the rigatoni pasta and not the spaghetti. I asked if it could be remade with the correct noodles. The server returns to my table and tells me the owner said if I want the Alfredo remade I would need to purchase another order of Alfredo. Idk if they are hard up for money but that is no way to conduct business. I understand there was a miscommunication between the server and I, but if the customer does not like the way his food (that he is paying for) was prepared then he should not be expected to pay double to have it made correctly. After the awkward conversation with the manager I decided I did not want the food at all, and I wanted the food removed from my bill, which they did. Server was extremely nice about everything and I felt she agreed with me on the issue. Is the customer always right? I do not think so, but you cannot expect someone to pay for something they did not want. Owner finally offered to remake the order correctly but at that point I was done and wanted to leave.

Used to eat here once a week till a few months ago we went in to pick up a Togo order.. one of the food items was supposed to have no mushrooms as he’s allergic. The lady suggested just picking them out. When I stated that’s not do able she wanted to have an attitude and slam things around. Fast forward to today. Decided to try again. Went in to pick up the Togo order and the blonde was very rude and snotty. Then proceeded to Asked if she could keep the change. And our order didn’t have napkins or forks like we asked. I’m not sure what’s going on with staff here but they are very snotty and rude during lunch time. We will not be back.
