  The Nova and Lox here was genuinely bad. The restaurant used multiple 1/2 inch thick slices of tomato to hide the fact that they barely used any smoked salmon. They also used 1/2 inch slices of very hot and cheap tasting red onions. The little bit of salmon that I did have was all on one side of the sandwich. There wasn't even enough salmon to put it in both sides of the sandwich. The other side was just tomatoes and onions. I picked the onions out and threw them away, because they were so strong. The topping ratio was very badly off, because the manager of this restaurant was being cheap with ingredients. It should have had enough smoked salmon for a good taste on the whole sandwich. The tomato should have been about 1/4 in thick. The onions should be sliced thin, so they add to the flavor of the sandwich without covering anything up. The capers were actually a good amount. I would keep that the same. You shouldn't serve bad food. Charge what you have to in order to cooknit right and serve good food at your restaurant. Don't mess up your flavor proportions trying to be cheap with the more expensive ingredients and end up serving food that doesn't taste good. That's how you get a reputation as the restaurant that isn't delicious.

  Food was good as expected and was prepared in a timely manner. I gave a 1 star for service and atmosphere because two employees were laying all over two of the five tables available for customers to sit at. There was a family of three sitting at a tall table made for two and a family of four standing at a table made for two. I would be surprised if the business model allows for employees to take up space in the customer’s eating area to catch up on sleep. Leadership needs to enforce policies and not tolerate this kind of lack of service. I won’t eat here again.

  The only reason I gave 3 stars is for the young lady (about in her early 20’s name starts with a J) very soft spoken and sweet that asked me if I was waiting my order. She came out of the restroom after I placed my order, anyway the girl Ty was very tumultuous saying how can you order a maple bagel and it ain’t none up there (upon arrival I knew what I wanted and didn’t think to look in the window to see if it was one there, the older woman who took my order said they didnt have that on hand and asked me to choose another and I did. Ty did not make my order she made two other orders that were placed after mine and gave away something free to someone else and didn’t even give them their correct order because while I’m typing this came back to get their order corrected, Ty proceeded to leave the store nasty attitude and gross demeanor. She needs an attitude adjustment. She too old to be in someone else’s establishment being ill mannered, rude, and distasteful.

  Victoria is a superstar. She was very patient with the a customer that had a large walk in order. She thanked for my patience and took care of my order with a smile on her face. The other young lady jumped right in and they were en able to complete the orders. I will definitely return to this location just because of her
