I visited Cava for the first time two weeks ago and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered a generous bowl of grilled chicken with various sides, and the food was truly delicious. The vegetables and add-ons I had chosen didn’t clash in flavor; instead, they complemented each other beautifully. Every bite was crisp and refreshing, making it feel like a wholesome and satisfying lunch.
However, I had a disappointing experience with their in-house drinks yesterday. They were quite mediocre and overly different from what I expected. I honestly didn’t enjoy them at all.
On a different note, I ordered a bowl yesterday and requested a double portion of lamb, which came with an additional $7.30. The prices at Cava are incredibly high for the quality of the food. A bowl of lamb costs $25, which is ridiculous. If you double the portion, it should be the standard serving size, or you could easily find a nice restaurant where you could have a steak or salmon dinner for a similar price.

Delicious! I heard mixed reviews about Cava so I wasn't sure what to expect. But I was presently surprised. I ordered the spicy lamb meatball and avocado bowl because I love lamb, and it was delicious. The toppings were fresh, the meatballs, sauces and hummus were all flavorful as well. With the base and toppings my bowl was filled to the top and I didn't finish it all. The only complaint is the serving size of the sauces in the side. The side of tzaziki was not even half way filled plbased in the small scoop that they used. The price was definitely not cheap, but in my opinion you get what you pay for. And nothing nowadays is cheap. For the quality of food and the freshness I had no problem with the price. However, if you are taking a family (4-5 people) please consider that you may spend $80-100 on casual dining. The restaurant is also small inside, but it was clean. I took my food to go and it was just as flavorful as if I had eaten in the restaurant.

My first time at Cava and it was excellent. I made my own bowl and it was freshd delicious - spinach, rice, chicken, marinated tomatoes, olives, white sweet potato with 3 dips. A different menu but as good as three other Mediterranean places in Augusta. I had read other reviews about small portions but I wasn’t even able to eat all of the bowl. Our service was very good, but they did have a long line around noon as would be expected. I can’t wait to go back.

My lovely lady and I were pretty confused today during our first trip to Cava. George helped us from behind the counter understand all of the wonderful options and we ended up with a great bowl with a little of everything for us to try. The braised lamb and spicy chicken was our favorite protein, i liked the potato but she disagreed🙄. We are already planning our next bowls. George reminded us to ask for pita bread and it was amazing, glad we didn’t miss out on it!
I see other reviews mentioning the portion size being a bit small, and while I do understand, the lady and I ended up full at the end with a little left in our bowls.

Welp . Thought I loved this place but just had the worse experience. Placed an order online to be ready at 8:15 and then I get a text saying it’s ready at 808 . Of course I am happy that it’s ready ahead of time . When I get to the store I was not greeted , cool their busy . I get to the register after waiting 15 mins to let them know that my order says it’s ready but I don’t see my bag . Long story short “ they think someone stole my order”’….. A nice lady comes to me and says she will fast track my order since I’ve been waiting and she will have it right out .. No less than two mins later and older man comes who I am assuming is the manager and says she is not going to fast track it because she already has 7 orders ahead of hers and he’s not going to make these other orders wait so I am going to have to wait ..What sense does that make ? I HAVE BEEN WAITING AS WELL FOR AN ORDER THAT SHOULDVE ALREADY BEEN DONE . But for them to tell me “ it happens “ and I pretty much have to suck it up and wait is unacceptable. I used to rave about this place and now I’m highly disappointed.
