It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Very popular restaurant couldn't believe they had one at this location. The avocado burger was amazing. You get a great tasting patty. The place was clean and the service was amazing.

    We fell in love with Whataburger when we lived out West. There are not many on the East Coast so imagine our surprise when we found this one on our way home today. John was right there to open the door for us as we walked up. Nice touch John. Very nice gentleman, and we had a lot of fun chatting with him. Jaikarccie S took our order with a warm smile and said, "I'll bring your food out when it is ready." The hamburgers were as good as we remembered. The fries were to die for delicious. We ordered the Whataburger Jr. Meal which comes with a burger, small fries and a small drink which was more than enough for us. There is plenty of parking for dining in, but it looks like most of their business was taking place at the drive though window. Be sure to stop by and check this place out esp if you never had a Whataburger meal. You won't be disappointed. By the way please tell John hello for us. Walmart, Tractor Supply and many other businesses are within walking distance.
