I was literally about to spend $50 for two veggie platters but the dude at the front tried to charge me an extra $5 for two mac & cheese orders & one side of yams - the veggie plate comes with THREE SIDES so that made no sense to me, especially when I ordered that exact order before with no up charge. I was more than happy to spend $50 PLUS a tip for the orders until he said that. It’s really gross how greedy a lot of these restaurants are nowadays. Luckily I have plenty of other soul food restaurants that I’ll happily spend my money with. That rubbed me the wrong way entirely, I wouldn’t come back.
