  I had the veggie plate with Mac and cheese, greens, yams, dressing. Good was good but the dressing was my favorite!

  This is our 3rd time eating here in the last 3 weeks. Today I tried the corn with the chicken and collards and let me say, it did not disappoint. The whole meal was sooooo good. The chicken was cooked to order and it has been HOT and crispy every time. The corn was amazing and it has a touch of sweetness. Collards have been good every time.

  The food is great! I don’t cook a lot because my children are grown. When I want a good soul meal I go to this restaurant. I had a problem once and the manager quickly took care of it. Now, that I really appreciate!

  The food was very bland. Chicken had no seasoning, the greens were sweet and sour. The macaroni was the best thing and that is a stretch because it was dry. The cashier kept our $5 in change which we were going to give as a tip anyways but it’s the principle of keeping the money. Probably wouldn’t come back there’s other soul food restaurants that’s are a lot better but it was very clean!

  You could walk into this place at noon, at 3, at 5 or 7pm but TRUST the quality of their food stays the same......5 STAR. I am from NY and finding Good soulfood was hard. Really hard. Only one other place came even close to this one but they are no longer in business. I don't know I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this restaurant. The atmosphere and mood just make you feel like home no matter where your from. The staff speaks when you walk in and everything is so clean. The staff in the kitchen wear gloves and actually change them if they touch something out the kitchen. (I'm a nurse so I'm OCD about those kind of things) I suppose I should say something negative so they don't think I'm a robot or paid actor in the 'feed my belly good food" movie. I was madd when the lemonade dispenser went out. That Lemonade is too good to not have that dispenser and another negative is one day that lemonade was so damn good I had to turn around for another one, thus wasting my gas. I hope this place stays open forever and day.
