My granddaughter and I were looking for a spot that had good food,good service,good customer service. That's important to me. I was visiting from out of town, and trying to get something filling and tasty before driving back to FL. Along with her order , my granddaughter asked for extra cucumbers. Both staff behind the counter seemed dismayed.The young gentleman made his way to the kitchen to inquire of the chef. He returned with a "no" they could not accommodate the request. I was puzzled. "it's cucumber."Are you kidding. I requested to speak with the manager. The young man disappeared around the bend of the counter,and within some short minutes he appeared with the manager. He granted the 3 or 4 extra slices of cucumber. "Scratching my head."As we sat and waited for our order to be filled, we noticed an auto,"robot" server. The foods were nicely prepared,and well garnished, and very nice ,in fact full portions. After a lengthy wait of apprx 45 minutes, a young lady walked out and handed the packaged takeout food to us. We get in the car head on to her house separate our food, and as she opens her container of chicken and rice, we noticed how skimpy her portion was. For $10.99 rice,/chicken,one would have expected good portion of food like I noticed being served via robot. I then opened my chicken sandwich,which by appearance,looked nicely packed. When I bit into the sandwich, the edges were hard amd shrunken as if the meat was sitting out for a lengthy time,greatly disappointed, and having to drive 6 hrs did not leave time for me to return to CUPBOB. Generally, I check my food, and I would encourage everyone to do the same before leaving with takeout. I would absolutely NOT visit CUPBOB again, and nor would I recommend it to anyone.
