Aaawwww man it was delicious. I had the grilled lobster tails and grits. The lobster was tender and juicy. The grilled taste was banging. I got the jalapeno corn sauce on the side and that was yummy too. My guy got the seafood hash with an added piece of grilled salmon. The hash was slightly dry until we added the sauce but it was definitely flavorful. We also had French toast. It was pretty good. And fried green tomatoes. I've had better but the was aight. We took it out go so I'm sure it'll be a different experience when we stay to eat at the restaurant. I can't wait to go back and try everything else.

I visited this location around 3:00 PM, well before their stated closing time of 4:30 PM, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. After being seated, our server, Notika, initially took our appetizer order (biscuits). When she returned, she informed us that they were “all out” and that they did not want to make more since they were closing soon—which felt unprofessional and dismissive, especially given that there was still over an hour left before closing. The service overall felt rushed and inattentive. When our food arrived, it was not prepared correctly. I specifically requested my eggs over easy, but they came out hard. When I addressed it, I felt questioned rather than accommodated before they agreed to send it back. Additionally, multiple menu items were unavailable. I attempted to order a mimosa but was told they had no champagne. I also tried to order peach cobbler and was again told they were out and did not want to make more. This created the impression that the kitchen was no longer willing to serve customers despite still being open. My main dish (Mr. Benny) was also overcooked to the point where I did not eat it. When I brought this to the manager’s attention and asked about possible compensation, I was told, “it doesn’t look burnt to me,” which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I truly try to support Black-owned businesses, which makes this experience even more disappointing. The lack of professionalism, poor service, and unwillingness to accommodate customers left a very negative impression. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to the Decatur location

Milk & Honey in Decatur is hands down one of the best breakfast and brunch spots in Atlanta. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service set the tone for a great experience. Our waitress, Gena, was outstanding—attentive, professional, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was top notch across the board. The crab cakes with the Cajun sauce (Mr. Benny) were a standout—perfectly seasoned with a rich, flavorful sauce that complemented the dish without overpowering it. You can tell there’s real attention to detail in the kitchen. The potatoes were seasoned to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and cooked exactly how they should be. And the grits? Easily some of the best I’ve had in Atlanta—creamy, smooth, and full of flavor. We also had the fried lobster tail, which was cooked just right—crispy, buttery, and a great addition to the meal. On top of that, we tried the veggie burger, and it definitely held its own—well-seasoned, satisfying, and a great option on the menu. Everything from presentation to flavor was on point. This is not just another brunch spot—this is a place that delivers a full experience. Overall, Milk & Honey earns a solid 5 out of 5. If you’re looking for a top-tier breakfast or brunch in Atlanta, this spot should absolutely be at the top of your list.

Me and My Friend met up for Brunch here. I loved it so much when I met up with another friend of mine before so I wanted to come back. Greeter was great, name on the list already knew the wait would be lengthy I was prepared for that. We get seated and smells strongly like moth balls and poop. YES MOTH BALLS and POOP. I asked our Greeter if we could switch seats because of the smell, she had our server come and WHEN she arrives( white lady- she didn't give us her name) she was not pleasant at all and already came with attitude and NO smile or good energy. NO greeting just proceeds to take our order; I again asked about moving seats. It was so strong I didn't think I could stomach my food. Mention again the smell and moving seats. She says yes we are having a septic issues. I proceed to laugh and say girl why would you all seat people back here than. She very RUDELY without a smile on her face says " What would you like us to do shut down half the restaurant" my response was you don't have to be rude about it but accommodate your customers is what I expect. I laughed it off and go to touch her arm and she pulls away. Granted I entered her personal space at that moment and everyone doesn't like to be touch, she could have JUST been having a VERY OFF DAY. So I digress, on the pull away. She than goes to say do you want me to get the manager. I say yes she leaves NEVER comes back, nor does a manager. We see her walking back and forth... So we get up and leave, explained it to the NICE greeter and we left. I will never go back to this location again because of that experience. BUT I still recommend the restaurant. My before vist was GREAT and so was the food, and service; hence me wanting to return.
