  I can’t quite put my finger on it, but the food somehow tastes better every single time I order it. Today is Christmas Day, and it’s the saddest day for my family and me. We lost half of our family during COVID, and my mommy’s cooking was the heart and soul of our family. The first time I took a bite of this food, I literally cried. I ordered the turkey wings, and they tasted just like my mom’s cooking. Since then, I’ve ordered just about everything on the menu, and every single time it gets better and better. I honestly don’t understand why they aren’t rated five stars—because they absolutely should be. The food is never too salty, always hot, and full of love. It’s the best food I’ve had since I left Miami 17 years ago, and that says a lot for our family. Thank you, Soul Foodies. I’ve personally sent over 100 people your way, and they all love it. You’re not just five stars—you’re rock stars in our family. ❤️

  This is me and my man favorite lowkey spot for some good food ! We still haven’t told anybody about it cause we wanna gate keep it lol ! The food is always fresh and hot and good literally we have no complaints . The yams and lemon cake are sooo good ! Always a 10/10 for us !

  I ordered from here this morning because I seen the pictures and it reviews and everything really looked amazing. I ordered through Uber, which I'm OK with my food being a little bit cold but that was not the case. It seems the food have been sitting out for quite some time. Eggs were overly hard. Waffle was extremely soggy. There was some chips of I guess icing that was all on it. We literally couldn't tell if it was icing or supposed to be butter absolutely horrible. I also ordered the potatoes, which had no flavor at all. Literally zero flavor. I'm assuming that you have to get a good experience from this place by going in. I absolutely hated my entire order. I have to be honest in my review. I just truly hope things get better until then. I will not order again.
