We walked right in and sat down at about 9:30 Saturday morning. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. Four people delivered the food and all items were hot and delicious. I wanted the blackened catfish and grits which seemed like too much food but when I split I with my daughter , which they separated onto two bowls without being asked, was still plenty of food. The sweet potato waffle is dense and chewy. Buttermilk batter with grated sweet potato makes a most attractive bite. I ate my one quarter without butter or syrup. It was good all by itself. The table split one in case we didn’t like it and later, we were all too full to get another. Arugula salad , with Salmon, was available for breakfast and one of us ordered that and ate all of it with a smile. We will eat there again tomorrow morning if time allows.

Excellent food, excellent Bloody Mary, good service. One of the few places where you can get decent grits that actually taste great! One of the few places that sells whole hog sausage, also delicious. Today's meal was short ribs and grits. I've been on several occasions. Also in the picture was a different dish, which was corned beef hash. Every dish i've eaten here has been very good and very well presented!

Nice little family friendly spot. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Very nice staff. Service time (order to table) was reasonable. It wasn't busy while we were there. I ordered steak (medium) & eggs (scrambled wet). I understand it's not a steak restaurant but a little salt and pepper would not hurt. EXTREMELY bland and dry. I saw a smidge of pink but it was still chewy. I had to add salt and pepper to eat the half I did eat (both steak & eggs), which didn't help much and left the rest. The person I was with advised the same about their omelet. Very dry and tasteless. It's a nice spot, in a nice location in Decatur. A bit of flavor would go a long way!
