The employees need to shut their traps and get to work. The food sat on the counter for at least five minutes before being served.

Wendy's has always been one of my favorite fast-food restaurants, but after my recent experience at this particular location, it will be a very long time before I return. While my visit started off relatively fine, I immediately ran into issues with the kiosk—it would not allow me to substitute chili for French fries. I had to cancel my entire order and go to the counter instead. A quiet but kind young lady assisted me and allowed me to use my app coupon. She also accommodated my request for a strawberry lemonade after I discovered the tea tasted awful (it was marked from 5:45 a.m.) and the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine was out of most drinks and, as usual, tasted bad anyway. The real concern began as my daughter and I sat down to eat. From where we were seated, I had a clear view of the front counter and kitchen area. Having spent years in fast-food administration, I naturally notice operational standards. Unfortunately, what I observed was unacceptable and unsanitary. > A man who appeared to be a manager prepared food wearing gloves, then took his personal phone out of his back pocket and used it—without removing or changing his gloves—before going right back to making sandwiches. > I later saw the same employee vaping inside the kitchen near the drive-thru window. > Even worse, the employee working the fry/nugget station was eating over the food, had a personal drink sitting on top of the food holding bin, and was dipping nuggets into sauce while standing over food meant for customers. > He then removed nuggets from the fryer, and when the tray was too full to fit back in the drawer, instead of using the tongs that were hanging right there, he used his bare hands—hands he had just been eating with—to move the food around. > Immediately afterward, he scratched his underarms and went right back to handling fries and nuggets with those same unwashed hands. This level of disregard for food safety and hygiene is absolutely unacceptable. Gloves were not used properly, handwashing protocols were completely ignored, and basic health standards were blatantly violated in full view of customers. This situation poses a serious health risk, and something must be done. I will be reporting this incident to the local health department, and I intend to forward this complaint to Wendy's corporate office as well. I will provide an update if I receive a meaningful and encouraging response—but as of now, this location has completely lost my trust.

Over the last year, I have attempted to eat from this location four times - and without a doubt, all four times... This location struggles to meet the mark on categories between quality of service and correct-ness of food requested by customer and prepared by the business. Apparently, requesting "Cheese and Ketchup Only" on a Dave's Single is an astronomical task to accomplish here in Dawsonville, GA. I've received all variants of a Dave's Single with the exception for how I've requested it from this location specifically. Other Wendy's locations across the US? Zero issue to meet that request. DO NOT, under any circumstance.... Trust this location to meet your request.

Excellent food and service. Best spicy chicken sandwich I’ve had from any Wendy’s
