Cava staff member Polly was very condescending in her tone during our interaction. She appeared to have a staffing issue and was already frustrated when she assisted with my order. The Cava food stand had some items that were not visible without me literally leaning over the clear glass and I think that would be a food safety hazard. I wanted to ensure for food preference that certain items were vegan and because I asked for extra of several items, that I WAS PAYING FOR, she became even more frustrated. She demonstrated this behavior the entire encounter but the last straw was when I asked if they had olives she laughed and pointed in a condescending manner those are olives. I advised that I could not see that so that is why I asked. Cava is great about their food ingredients and quality BUT they are not cheap eats by any means so my standard and expectations are different when I enter their doors. I understand that most customers are repeat customers and are aware of their order without even looking. I had my child with me who is new to Cava and is also vegan and wanted to make sure that she, with my assistance, was ordering vegan friendly items. Her tone, impatience, and frustration was unnecessary. I am a proud member of the Cava round table discussion and will submit this complaint to corporate. I wanted my child to experience the Cava way that I usually encounter. She made my child feel bad about asking about food items and rushed to order. I will NEVER return to this location. I know that you guys get alot of service and may not care about the $51.52 I spent today but I believe in writing good and bad reviews and this experience was terrible to say the least.

I am a frequent customer of CAVA and have visited many of your locations across the United States well over 50 times. I’ve always appreciated the quality of food and service, which is why I continue to return.
However, during my recent visit to your Cumming location today between approximately 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, I had an experience that was disappointing and uncharacteristic of your brand.
I was dining with colleagues and assisting one of them with ordering, as he is not very comfortable speaking English. I was simply helping communicate his choices to the staff member preparing our bowls. Unfortunately, the employee assisting us responded in a rude and dismissive manner, stating that my colleague should place the order himself.
Additionally, while I was pointing to items, my hand may have briefly gone above the glass counter something I understand may not be appropriate, and I take responsibility for that. However, the way it was addressed felt unnecessarily harsh and disrespectful, with a comment made in a tone that came across as sarcastic and unwelcoming.
I would like to note that the other staff members, including the cashier, were polite and professional, which I appreciated.
This experience left me feeling disappointed and uncomfortable, especially as someone who has been a loyal customer for a long time. I hope this feedback can be used constructively to ensure a more respectful and welcoming experience for all customers in the future
