This was my first time trying Caribou Coffee, and I ordered a large iced turtle mocha. The drink itself was really good. It was smooth, chocolatey, and well made. It was a little stronger than I prefer, but still enjoyable and something I’d order again (just sweeter next time).
Unfortunately, the customer service didn’t match the quality of the drink. The cashier, Amerrah B, came across as very dry and unwelcoming. When we asked simple questions about the menu, her responses felt dismissive, like we were inconveniencing her. As first-time customers, that kind of interaction almost made us turn around and leave.
I’m big on customer service, especially when trying a place for the first time. A little patience and friendliness would’ve gone a long way here.
The drink saved the experience, but management should definitely be aware of how interactions like this can impact customers. I’d come back for the drinks, just hoping for a more welcoming experience next time.
From today ,my drink was perfect!
From my visit on Thursday 3/26 my drink was good. My food was disgusting 🫣 the food did not look like the photo at all.
I honestly didn’t know what to expect bc I’m kinda picky with my coffee, but I ordered the iced Caramel Highrise with oat milk and while in my opinion I’d get it a little sweeter next time, it is still rlly good!! I got the french toast sandwich & peach lemonade as well and they were both really solid. Super good customer service too :) I’ll def come back!!!
Caribou Coffee is the kind of place that feels like it understands the assignment: good coffee, comfortable space, no unnecessary theatrics.
The drinks are consistently solid. The coffee itself has a smooth, well-rounded profile—less bitter than many chains, with a richness that holds up whether you’re ordering something simple or leaning into one of their flavored options. Even the sweeter drinks manage to avoid tipping into syrupy excess, which is a small but important distinction.
The atmosphere leans warm and lived-in. There’s usually a softness to the lighting, a quiet hum rather than a sharp buzz, and seating that encourages you to stay a while. It works equally well for a quick stop or for settling in with a laptop and letting time stretch out a bit.
Service tends to be steady and personable. Orders come out without much delay, and the staff generally strike that balance between friendly and unobtrusive.
What Caribou does best is consistency paired with comfort. It doesn’t try to reinvent coffee culture—it just refines it. And in doing so, it becomes a place you return to not for novelty, but for reliability and ease.

This is a good place, if you enjoy blowing more money than even Starbucks. The coffees are good, but I decided to try the Denver bowl for the first time, and I have to say I’m actually pretty disappointed in the portions, and the pricing. It was barely enough to be of anything substantial it’s more of a snack sized portion.
Paid 24 dollars for two people. Iced mocha, (medium) a hot mocha, (large) and a Denver bowl.
Now I understand it’s a coffee shop and I can’t expect a full-blown meal, but for the price I paid, Dunkin’ Donuts would’ve given us a lot more bang for our buck, and I think I’ll probably end up sticking with DD.
Not very impressed at all. I think you guys really need to evaluate your pricing with your competitors between Dunkin’ Donuts, and Bread & Butter..
