  This place is amazing. I had the fried pork chops, okra, and green beans and it was all very flavorful and delightful. The pork chops were a tiny bit salty but I don't salt my food but not enough to turn them away. The lemon drops are delicious and sneak up on you. The service was very friendly and attentive and I highly recommend checking it out.

  This is like my third time going there is not a huge crowd, which is great if you want to eat some soul food and have a drink and the food is great. The service is great. The waitresses are nice….

  Hidden Treasure is within Blockers restaurant! Today my husband and I stop by Blockers today and it was good. Tosha was our server and she was so sweet and delivered great customer service. The food was amazing just enough favor and seasoning to make to tenderize meat fall of the bone. I had smothered turkey wings, blessing dressing with gravy and blackeye peas. Steve had teriyaki salmon with greens and mac&cheese. The portion size was just enough and average for most restaurant. We will go back again! Thanks Tosha and tell Malachi thanks for being so kind to us.

  Had to try Blockers. I was looking for a little soul and they certainly delivered. Prompt service, good food, good vibes. I had the wings, collard greens, and mac and cheese with a side of fried okra. Everything was spectacular, my only regret was losing about three okra because I couldn't keep them on the fork.😊

  Stopped in for the 1st time ever today a 530pm. Nice ladies with nice presence. Picked up 3 plates. Very pleasantly surprised. Wings, pork chops and chopped steak were perfect. Collards, green beans, etc were spot on. My wife said everything was well seasoned. Adding this place to my "go to" list, when I'm in Covington. 2 thumbs up!!
