The worst experience I've had at a fast food restaurant in a long time.
I come up to the counter, and i'm met by a woman, moving slower than a snail, eyes half-closed, appearing to nod off...
I would never want to make an accusation, but as a nurse, this behavior was very consistent with patients I see who are high on opiates...
I hand her a coupon from a mailer I received. She holds it and stares at the coupon, without moving or speaking, for almost 5 full minutes. The most awkward experience ever.
After 5 minutes, another worker with a similar set of "attributes" comes over to "help". They start slowly tapping the screen on the computer, and random things came up on the sub total that had nothing to do with the coupon...
Then, I kid you not, they both stare at the computer, nodding off for 5 more minutes...
I try to offer help and show them where the coupon code is on the little coupon, and they dont even look up at me.
After 10 full minutes of standing in silence, the first woman hands me the coupon and says, "I can't get this to work, so we must not honor the coupon or something."
Are you kidding me!? You're too high to push a button and then try to tell me that you dont accept the coupons that your business sent to me?!
Disgusting people, disgusting behavior, get some help.
Speaking to the owner:
Start drug testing your workers, and have a higher standard for how your business operates!
Needless to say, I took my 2 young girls and walked out as quick as I could so they weren't exposed to seeing this type of behavior any longer.
Avoid this place at all costs.
