Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I had a very disappointing experience at Whataburger. My order was missing items, which is already frustrating, but what made it worse was the overall lack of professionalism. Staff members were having loud, private conversations filled with profanity while customers were trying to order, and there was little attention given to people at the counter.
The environment felt unorganized and inattentive, and it did not reflect good customer service at all. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be returning.

The food is so fresh but I can’t give it 4 stars because some of the staff are SO ANNOYING! Like don’t come to my table and try to have a full on conversation with us while we are eating…or ask us something every 5 minutes! We appreciate the hospitality but it’s WAY overboard. We will get our food in the drive through going forward…let me mention also that this restaurant was sooooooo clean!!!!

Driving by I thought I had 30 minutes I'll get a quick snack. The drive thru is atrocious. Tight, bad angles and they still needed road cones to cut off a second lane. Anyway order my food. #1 with an apple pie no special instructions other than add cheese. It takes 13 minutes to get to the window with only 3 cars infornt of me. The kid at the window is whispering to the point I had to ask him to speak up. And he ask me to go to a parking spot. Which are tiny and not angled for someone to conveniently get into from the drive thru. 11 more minutes goes by and the kid finally comes out with my food no drink. I asked where the drink was and he said "it's coming out" Why didn't that come out with the food? It's one bag and a cup. So i checked the bag and noticed no apple pie. So i got out of my car went inside and told the person behind the counter I needed a drink and an apple pie that didn't come with my food. This is practically a brand new facility that's been open for atleast a year it should be running like a well oiled machine. TLDR: stopped for a quick burger. Took about 30 minutes and I had to go inside to get things left out of my order.

The cashier that have waited on me three times have always been so nice and polite. That's why I like coming back to this place. The cleaning this is great. Atmosphere was nice and the food always come out pretty good, although a little pink in the middle of my meat but that's okay
