The restaurant was extremely busy, and the staff seemed rushed, which may have contributed to mistakes with my order. I brought the issue to the staff’s attention, and they did remake the order. However, when I went back to the counter to check on it, one of the employees told me the order was already correct and tried to explain that the toppings I mentioned were somehow accounted for. That simply wasn’t true. The burger did not have the bacon, jalapenos, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, or the other toppings that were supposed to be on it. It felt like the employee was trying to dismiss the issue and make it seem like I didn’t understand my own order. I ended up speaking with the manager about the situation and explaining what happened. The manager said “I got you” and gave me a free drink, which I appreciate, but it didn’t really address the bigger problem. The main issue was the way the situation was handled and the lack of honesty from the employee. Between the incorrect order, the confusion at the counter, and the way the issue was handled, the overall experience left a bad impression for my first visit. I would not return to this location, and I hope management takes a closer look at how customer concerns are handled there.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
