  Probably my favorite Mexican in Columbus these days. The atmosphere is a little dark, but the food and service are great.

  Fluatas are always on point but you do have to ask for extra crispy because if you don’t, they are soggy and fall apart. The spicy salsa is also good. the regular salsa is not good nor are their enchiladas. The cheese being used tastes like shredded American white versus Mexican cheese and does not melt well and has a weird taste profile. There is no use of cotija cheese or queso fresco anywhere. The red sauce and regular salsa both taste like ketchup, very mild and bland, with no real flavor profile. It doesn’t even taste like tex-mex… it just tastes like a compromise to appease local gringos that don’t want any spices to be used. Even Taco Bell has a better red sauce and taco bell is bottom of the barrel, mexican-INSPIRED food.This is supposed to be authentic Mexican food but the consistency between dishes for authenticity is largely lacking. I have tried quite a few dishes at this point and the only thing I feel safe in ordering are the flautas and salsa. Any dish with their disgusting red sauce and weird cheese has been pretty gross.

  They have great customer service. The food was great but I ordered corn tortillas and got what looked like the hard taco shells you buy at the store...I realized I should have ordered soft tacos as these were the authentic tacos that I wanted. Lesson learned. The atmosphere was good, the only thing I did t like was the bright overhead light. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
