- EEElle EmmNov 12, 20252.0Came here for our anniversary. Put in a drink and appetizer order and then never saw our waitress again. She never came back to the table. After about 30 minutes I got up and found her. Said, "Excuse me, ma'am, but I think you've forgotten about our table." Her reply was that the table next to ours, a party of 2 which we'd seen her return to 5 times (we started counting as each time we thought she was coming back to us, but she wasn't) had "a lot of questions." I told her I understood that, but that we'd been waiting for about half an hour to even order (in a restaurant that was only half full), and she literally shrugged me off. She offered no real apology, she offered no means of making it up to us, she didn't even say she'd come to the table to take our order. So I requested a different server. The new server was kind and prompt. The restaurant wasn't busy, and he had the food ordered and on the table within 15 minutes. Manger came over. I told him what happened, and he did nothing other than offer an "I'm sorry that happened." No comps. No desert offer for our anniversary. Nothing. The food, once it came, was fine, but we won't be back. The poor service was a damper on a special day.

The manager, Lisa circulated and checked in to see how service was. She even sang to the birthday person at our table. I appreciate that kind of service!!

I voiced my concern on the C website and guess what, Kyle from C sent me a text message addressing my concern. I was made to feel valued & important. He apologized and sent me a promotional code for a discount on my next meal. Well, my next meal was today and I am glad to report that the mashed potatoes were absolutely delicious. Great customer service Carrabba’s.
