I used to travel to Nana's when it was in Conyers and also once they moved to McDonough, Ga for my Shrimp and Grits, and I'm happy to say the The RM&H has gotten another patron. A must eat!

I visited the Real Milk and Honey today and ordered the lobster and shrimp with grits which was outstanding. The lobster was succulent, the shrimp were plump and well-seasoned, and the cheesy grits were silky, comforting, and full of flavor. The balance of textures and seasoning was spot on. This dish alone is worth returning for—absolutely delicious. Special shoutout to the Chef Mottley for creating such a memorable dish.

I will start off by saying the food is wonderful. I had their signature waffle with cheese hash browns and coffee. It was great. The waffle is very delicious and has a unique flavor that I haven’t tried before. I also tried some of my friends salmon spinach dip. So good! It sounds crazy at first but it was a great mix. I do recommend that as a shareable appetizer.
The atmosphere was ok with cute decor; it’s pretty small but we appreciate them for accompanying our party, which was 12 people.
However, the service really needs better organization. We called ahead and spoke with the manager days before to arrange the seating. When we got there, they tried to seat us as 2 separate parties. This was after waiting 45 minutes to get us seated, even with the reservation. It took a while for the waitress to come and greet us and even longer for her to get our drinks. The appetizers came out before the drinks. I’d say about 30 mins for that. The waitress completely disappeared during this time. We didn’t see her come back to our section at all. We figured she may have been unwell and actually became concerned.
When the food came, our orders were mixed up with the birthday girl’s food coming out last and super late. She was munching off everyone else’s plates and was full by the time her food finally came. Paying for our meals was another obstacle as the waitress didn’t properly separate the tickets as she went. I would also add, the orders we placed were not super complicated.
We asked if it was possible to comp the birthday girls meal due to the inconvenience as well as she no longer wanted it when it finally came. They refused and only gave us 20% off.
This was on top of a 18% automatic gratuity for the waitress. I don’t have a problem with this and would actually tip more being a former waitress myself but if you’re going to do automatic grat, the service needs to match this instead of apologies. Once the service quality increases, this will be a very memorable location.

The food was amazing with very generous portions, the drinks were strong, and the service was impeccable. Shoutout to Juwuan for seating us immediately and providing speedy service. We’re just traveling through, but we’ll definitely be back!

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service and overall experience my family and I received during our recent visit to Milk & Honey in College Park. We came to celebrate my niece’s 8th birthday, but unfortunately, the visit was far from the joyful occasion we had hoped for.
12/14/25: Approximately 11:15 a.m. arrival
Three adults and two children age 3 &8
Bill Total: $185
1. Excessive Wait Time: After placing our order, it took 45 minutes to an hour for our food to arrive. Guests who arrived after us were served much sooner, which was frustrating and unfair.
2. Lack of Communication: Only after I approached the hostess did the waitress inform me that the POS system was experiencing technical difficulties. This should have been communicated proactively.
3. Food Quality: When our meals finally arrived, they were cold or lukewarm. The children were hungry and crying by this point, and we eat a little of the food and decided to pack the food to go rather than eat it.
4. Manager’s Response: When I reported the cold food, the manager asked me to list each item individually, like which food was cold whichIt felt dismissive and disrespectful. She eventually offered a 20% discount, but did so with an unprofessional attitude and did not apologize
Despite tipping the waitress $20 who was extremely polite but did not apologize the overall experience was unacceptable and unsatisfactory. What should have been a special birthday celebration for my neice turned into a stressful and disappointing experience
I kindly ask that you review this incident and take steps to ensure that future guests do not experience similar issues. A more appropriate resolution — such as a full refund or a sincere apology — would reflect better customer care than what was offered during our visit.
