The food and atmosphere here were great. If you have a shell fish allergy you cannot eat a lot on the menu, but, they were honest about cooking everything together. My chicken sandwich was amazing. Possibly the best I ever had. But, we watched this well-oiled machine (at first glance) slow down painfully and break. One problems is that they are “out of” a lot. Each time we asked for something, including lamb chops, ox tails, Cabernet and Michelob, they realized after 5 minutes that they didn’t have it. Oh wait, apparently they found some lamb chops because the person next to us is eating them now. 😒 …and they appeared to be extremely slow seating people, but that wasn’t our experience (it was pretty quiet when we got there). However, the time to get our ordered items slowed down as they got busier. We stuck around to grab some drinks before we had to catch our flight. It took forever to get our drinks and, as I said, they didn’t have our first choices. As long as you are patient, you will be pleased with your food (if they have what you want). The manager finally came out and apologized to a group of us for the poor service - but that did not remove the mandatory 18% gratuity, despite crappy service. Might try it again on a subsequent visit. However, Atl has so many dining experiences, the likelihood of intentionally coming back is slim.

A friend took me here for my birthday. Since they announced snow in the afternoon there was no wait time. I couldn't choose from 80% of the menu, it was so good! 🍳🍴 Being that it wasn't busy, we were able to sit and talk and enjoy the ambiance. And, they have a bar 🍸 And had a DJ.💿 The 1st hour was all GenX r&b..as it got closer to 1pm the music made it's way down to Gen Y lol. Our server didn't like us, but my Food and friend were great.

From the moment I walked in, the staff treated me like family — genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being over the top. The service alone would make me come back. The food was absolutely amazing. True comfort food done right. I hadn’t even ordered their biscuits, but when they realized I hadn’t tried them, they sent one out to me — and it was phenomenal. They also surprised me with additional food to try, which really shows how much they care about their guests’ experience. The restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and while the beer selection is small, it honestly didn’t matter at all given how good everything else was. I was there on Super Bowl Sunday, and they still took the time to make me feel welcome and appreciated. I wanted to go back again, but unfortunately they’re closed on Mondays. If you’re looking for a home-cooked meal, a clean place, and staff that truly treats you like family, this is absolutely the place to go. Highly recommend.
