Tom Brown started with the company in 1982 after moving to Atlanta from Michigan. He started as a cook and dish washer at 18 years old, and quickly moved his way up in the company. Tom moved up to management under the guidance of the original owners Bob Liberto and Leigh Tyler. In 1995 Tom took over as the owner of the Mad Italian. Since that time, the company has made a huge impact on the community with sponsorships, donations and other support. He continues to be a "hands on" owner, working side by side with the rest of the staff to maintain the consistency that has kept the Mad strong for 48 years.
