If you’re wondering how bad service at a restaurant can actually get, our visit here might be a perfect example.
I don’t usually write reviews like this, but this visit to Buffalo Wild Wings was so unbelievably bad that it deserves to be documented.
We came in around 3:00 in the afternoon on a Saturday with a party of six — me, my wife, and our four kids. It wasn’t late at night, it wasn’t slammed with people, and it should have been a completely normal dining experience. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the most frustrating restaurant visits I’ve had in a long time.
After we sat down, we waited and waited before our waitress finally came to take our order. That ended up being one of the only two times we saw her the entire visit. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, figuring that would come out quickly while we waited for the rest of the food.
Instead, we sat there for over 30 minutes wondering if anyone in the building remembered our table even existed. No drink refills, no check-ins, nothing. Our glasses sat empty while we waited, and nobody came by to see if we needed anything.
When the mozzarella sticks finally arrived, they somehow managed to be cold, and the cheese inside was hard instead of melted. After waiting that long, it honestly felt like they had been sitting somewhere for quite a while before being dropped off at our table.
At that point, it was clear the visit wasn’t going to improve. When the only food you’ve received after half an hour is a cold appetizer and empty drink glasses, it’s probably time to call it. I paid for our drinks and we left.
We ended up going across the street to Johnny's New York Style Pizza, where we were quickly served hot food and actually had attentive service.
I understand that new restaurants sometimes have growing pains, but this experience was beyond disappointing. With slow service, cold food, and almost no attention to the table, it turned what should have been a simple family meal into a frustrating afternoon.
The only thing during this visit that didn’t disappoint was the water. Unfortunately, that’s not a great sign for a wing restaurant.
If this visit was supposed to show what this new location has to offer, then unfortunately the bar is set incredibly low. When the most memorable part of the entire experience is the water and the decision to leave, that says everything that needs to be said.

Apparently wanting your food made fresh and correctly is just too hard for this establishment.

DoorDashed my food here and they gave me stale fries if I could upload the picture I will. They didn’t tie the bags or secure any of the food inside so it’s no telling what the DoorDash driver could’ve did to the food

Food takes too long for no reason at all. Every single time we’ve been here, it takes almost a whole damn hour for our drinks. And no apologies on the time either. If you’re looking for a good bww to go to, I suggest the one in Douglasville. They aren’t slow for no reason at all.

Believe the bad reviews about service. I’ve been here about 7-8 times since opening in hopes that the bad service was opening jitters and they’d work it out. Unfortunately the service has only gotten worse. With each visit I’ve observed less people in the restaurant yet progressively slower service. In a recent visit on a Saturday night I went in with my family and was told it would be a 10-15 minute wait to be seated. There was no one waiting on a table and I counted 15 empty tables in the restaurant. I asked the hostess what could possibly be the reason and the only answer I was given was “that’s what my manager told me”. I asked if they were short of staff or had a kitchen issue. I was told they weren’t short servers, so I asked to be seated and given drinks and told the host it would be fine if they couldn’t take my order for a while if they were having a kitchen issue. I was just told “sorry I’ve been told not to seat anyone”. At this point I was frustrated and asked to speak with the manager. The host went to get him/her, but no one came to speak with me for 10-15 minutes, so I left. I will never be back to this restaurant. It’s apparent the management doesn’t have a clue what they’re doing. Based on the amount of empty spots in the parking lot when I drive by this place many others feel the same way. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re out of business within a year.
