Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Wait time is insane I have set in drive through multiple times for 15-20 mins with no apologie or anything the food comes out and is cold and disgusting

    Love the food, but service needs to step it up! 30 minutes at the drive thru for a chicken sandwich and fries is absurd!

    Painfully slow! It was at lunchtime and I only ordered a burger. Literally took 13 minutes in the drive through.

    As native Texans we were so excited to see this branch open just 5 min. from our home!! Have given them 3 chances now to hopefully iron out the kinks and unfortunately, 3rd time was not a charm. 1st visit a week or two after opening and fries were cold and awkwardly chewy and stale tasting. Burger was luke warm at best and without sauce or any moisture. Visit 2 with the wife, no better. Terrible long wait at inside counter service, burger and chicken was just bad. 3rd try was this weekend and we just stuck with traditional burgers and it was just as slow. Wrong food was made (no special order just straight off the menu) fries again barely warm and old, and when remake finally came nearly 25 minutes later despite there only being 3-4 others in dining room, had non-melted cheese, no heat, patties off color and old tasting, bacon stale etc. Almost appears as if there is no way to serve hot food or they are getting a lesser grade of everything. This is one of our favorite cheat meals when done well and the location on HWY 92 in Woodstock is solid. But unfortunately this location leaves a lot to be desired. Looks like its going to be easier to stick to our diet than we thought.

    I was the only person in line this morning and I now understand why. 19 minutes waiting on 2 biscuits. If you are on your way anywhere don't stop here. Very slow ....not fast food at all. I can now see why the parking lot was empty
