I’ve been a regular customer at this Dunkin’ for quite a while, stopping in a couple of times a week on my way to work or school drop-off. Unfortunately, I’ve reached the point where I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
The biggest issue is consistency and efficiency. The lines are often extremely long, which I understand during busy morning hours — that’s exactly why I started using the mobile app. Ordering ahead should make pickup quick and seamless. Lately, though, my mobile orders are not started until I arrive and ask about them. I’ll walk in, stand at the pickup area, and no one acknowledges me. When I show my phone and ask about my order, someone grabs the receipt and begins preparing it then. That defeats the entire purpose of ordering ahead.
Customer service has also been disappointing. There’s rarely a greeting, smile, or acknowledgment — just blank stares while customers wait. I don’t expect over-the-top enthusiasm, but basic courtesy goes a long way, especially during the morning rush.
Additionally, napkins are never included with donut orders. I politely ask every time, and it consistently feels like an inconvenience. Frosted donuts and napkins should go hand in hand — that shouldn’t require a special request.
Lastly, the way the donuts are packaged has become frustrating. They’re often placed on top of one another, upside down, with icing sticking to the bag. I’ve even taken photos because it happens so frequently. It’s disappointing to open the bag and see the product damaged before I’ve even left the parking lot.
I understand that mornings are busy, but this location is fully staffed and still manages to be the slowest and least welcoming breakfast spot in town. I’m not writing this to be harsh — just to share honest feedback from a regular customer who really wanted this location to be better.
I hope improvements are made.
