My first visit was marred by the vinegar-based dressing, which overpowered everything. I played it safe on my second visit, and I loved it. I HIGHLY recommend ordering through the mobile app. The line takes years. Additionally, they may make a mistake in your online order, but the food is good and healthier. Bon appetite!

I love Cava. I’ve been to several locations on many different occasions. When this location first opened it was great. However, over the last few months it has continued to go downhill. I came about 6pm on a Sunday. There was about 8-10 people in line. The line was at a standstill. The staff could not have been moving any slower and several people in line ahead of me were having to correct their orders. They were out of Tzatziki and crazy feta as well as the cabbage slaw. I politely asked 3 times to have crumbled feta topping added to my bowl but it was still left off. They were even out of most utensils. Other staff could be seen standing around chatting instead of helping customers or stocking ingredients. Over the last few months, this has become the normal experience for this location. I tried to give it another chance because I love Cava but I won’t be back to this location.

Extremely Disappointing Service and Portions at CAVA Buford
I’m very disappointed with the service at this CAVA location — especially when Zach the General Manager is behind the counter. Every single time he serves, the portions are ridiculously small. Today was no exception. He gives barely half a scoop of each ingredient and insists it’s for “portion control.” When customers ask for a little more, he immediately says you’ll have to pay extra.
I understand portion control, but this goes way beyond reasonable. If I’m paying $13 for a bowl, I expect to actually get a fair portion of what I’m paying for — not half a spoonful of everything. It’s frustrating and honestly feels like he’s being stingy on purpose.
CAVA is supposed to be about fresh, generous, high-quality meals — not nickel-and-diming customers over basic ingredients. Management really needs to address this because it’s becoming a pattern, and it’s driving loyal customers away.

I wish I would have read the reviews before I went. 1st time and last. Customer service horrible. He wanted to upcharge for the half of spoon of rice which he never gave me a full serving to start. The same with the protein. When I told him I didnt ask for extra, he removed it with his hands. Instead of him throwing it in the garbage, he threw it inside the large serving portion.
I hope no one get sick.. that was my cue to leave... never again.. Just nasty

I LOVE CAVA, but the people there at times make me want to not walk in at all, don’t get me wrong a few rare times I have gone here there have been some chill people with good attitudes working, Most times though Me and my fiancée get met with someone that looks like they are so bothered to help us, one time even getting eyes rolled at us. I go to Cava almost on a weekly basis for food and so does my fiancée and it’s hard not too because we love the company so much, but the people here make the experience pretty dull and miserable and at times with lower portions met with attitude, all I ask is that you just do your job with a positive and kind attitude. I may have to drive a little bit farther to another cava just to get a experience that the company of cava really expect out there establishments. P.S would love to see a change and will be back if there is to this location.
