I've been here several times since it opened, and every time I have left there has been some kind of issue. Some of the staff are great, and remember my order as soon as I walk in, which I think is above and beyond. Others fail to understand how basic menu items are put together. I had ordered a Slim 1, the most basic of sandwiches on their menu, Ham and Provolone cheese. I took it home and realized they had put Mayo on it. The individual who had taken my order, didn't even seem to understand what I was ordering or how to operate the register. I ordered online another time to see if they would honor that order. Italian sandwich with some modifications. It was made half right, it was missing the oil and vinegar but the rest of the sandwich was made properly. However on the ticket I had a combo (sandwich, chips and drink) and ordered pickles on the side. They had shoved everything in the bag (the bottle of coke was in there) and failed to even give me my chips in the bag. And every single time I have gone, I blatantly ask, for the sandwich to be cut in half, and every time, it's not done.
I give a lot of leeway for food industry workers as I spent many years in the field myself, but this is ridiculous and shows there's a lack of training on the part of not only the manager, but the franchisee. These are sandwiches, and ones that you aren't really making custom each time for the customer, they're all planned out menu items. The area is slow for majority of the day every week, there's little excuse as to why things can't be done right. I love Jimmy John's, but this is embarrassing, the Super Chix right next door may by more expensive but they get your order right every single time and the service is incredible as they go above and beyond, just go there for lunch instead.
