  I'm actually reviewing based on an interaction we witnessed on veteran's day. There was a young couple in front of us that apparently came in for doughnuts and to receive the free veteran doughnut for KK's thank you to veterans. We could hear them order their regular doughnut and ask if they were honoring their promotion for veterans and saw the young man provide some form of military ID. The woman behind the counter had no name tag, (but we've seen her in here before and believe she is a "manager"), denied the couple the free doughnut. The young lady even suggested the manager look up his #, but she just flat refused & actually denied him the $1 doughnut. As a small business owner & military supporter, this has upset us more than I can express. I will NEVER visit this location again to buy for my family or business meetings, and you can be certain this isn't the last time I will tell this story, unless I can be assured this branch has mended its ways. KK, Miss Manager, shame on you- you wouldn't have a company and you wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for our military/veterans. If that couple takes the time to review, you should make it right by them & any other veterans/patrons you've treated poorly. And remember, for every bad review people take the time to write, you've lost triple business that to silent, dissatisfied, non-returning customers who won't take the time to give you feedback and will just go elsewhere.

  In a few words I would describe my experience here as extremely disappointing and honestly, a little disrespectful. I am an avid krispy kreme fan; I am one of those people who will drive out of my way for one of their donuts when I'm in the mood for one and will bring a dozen or two to any family gathering. Unfortunately, because of my treatment at krispy kreme recently, I don't know if ill be able to justify going back, and I will definitely never go back to THIS LOCATION. My husband and I swung by on veterans day to get him his veterans donut that is given with proof of service. My husband is a young vet, just out of service recently. So we go in, my husband asks if they are doing the veterans day special and presents his military ID. The lady working the counter looks at the ID and tells us she will not give him the veterans donut. We ask why and she says it's because his ID is expired. As I said, my husband is recently out of service and has not gotten his veterans card yet and only has his military ID. I politely request that she just looks at the DOD number on the back, as it would be the same on his veterans ID and could be looked up to prove its a valid ID, and she just kinda scoffs at me and says that will not accept the ID. I honestly was flabbergasted and could not believe the treatment and condescending attitude, especially since this ID has been perfectly valid on forums such as ID.me and GOVX, not to mention no other establishment has ever had an issue honoring it (outback was more than happy to honor their veterans day deal and they threw in a desert because they were just being sweet). But apparently my husbands service is not worth a $1.50 donut from krispy kreme. Extremely disappointing. I was planning on buying a few extra donuts so that we could have a few later on in the night, but after being treated like that, we simply walked out. Glad to know what krispy kreme really thinks about our veterans.
