The food was amazing. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. No complaints from anyone at the table, which says a lot when you’re dining with a party of six.
They were able to accommodate our group without any hassle. Service was great from start to finish. Attentive without hovering. Orders were accurate. Timing was right.
The atmosphere feels warm and inviting. It’s the kind of spot that adds life to downtown. My kids especially loved the lion statues out front. That small detail made the experience fun and memorable for them.
This is exactly the type of business you want to see thriving in downtown Augusta. Strong food. Strong service. Family friendly. We’ll be back.

We went to celebrate a friend's birthday. There was a nice crowd and great music, creating a nice vibe.
We ordered and Bri, our waitress was very attentive. Then, things went downhill from there.
The kitchen was slow. It took 50 minutes to get gumbo, which isn't traditional gumbo. People who came 45 minutes later than me received their food before me. The fryer went down and people had to change their orders. They piece milled our food. Nothing came out at the same time. Lastly, they upcharge for EVERYTHING. I wasn't impressed. Our group had a great time in spite of the slow kitchen.

Not impressed. The peach wings appetizer was good, but the wings are hella small, approximately 2 inches in length. Even if you ate all 8 yourself, it'd be an appetizer portion. We (mistakenly) ordered "snow crab dip" (quotes because that's exactly what we spoke). And the server repeated back to us "snow crab dip" (quotes because that's exactly what he spoke). But what we got was just snow crab legs. Not sure why the server said the words "snow crab dip" when he knew that wasn't what the menu listed. We ended up sending em back, and they were cut from the tab, thankfully.
Husband got the French toast, which he said was really good.
FIL got the classic eggs, bacon, and grits, but the grits tasted bitter, like vinegar, not savory. He didn't eat em all, which is a rare occasion. I tasted them myself and couldn't even place the taste, except that it tasted very bitter, like apple cidar vinegar.
I ordered avocado toast against my better judgment; there's absolutely never ever been enough avocado topping when I've ordered it in restaurants. Always just enough for a light smear. In an entree where there's only 2 ingredients - toast and avocado - there should be enough of each to warrant calling it an entree. What I got was 8 halves of bread, so 4 whole pieces, and enough avocado to top "maybe* 3 half pieces. And it was basically a do-it-yourself meal; they don't even top the toast for you. (Probably because,if they did so, it'd be grossly apparent that it wasn't enough topping to even hit all 8 pieces OR they'd have to triple the avocado serving to make it work.) Oh, and there were blueberries in it, which is odd, but only 5 of em, so not even enough to go with each half piece of toast. Same w the feta cheese... probably 6 little chunks in total. I didn't even eat the entree because it was such a futile endeavor. The server asked if I wanted a to go box, and when I said no, despite it being *entirely untouched*, he didn't even inquire whether there was a problem with the "meal". Also, the fried eggs that came with my order weren't seasoned at all, and there's no salt or pepper at the table.
To top it off, the store wasn't exactly clean. The baseboards were filthy, and there were at least 2 dead and 1 living spider at my feet amongst the grime and dust.
Paid $106 ($86 plus tip) for unseasoned eggs, bitter grits, good French toast, the equivalent of probably 3 regular-sized (tasty) wings, and *maybe* half an avocado-worth of toast topping.
10/10 wouldn't go back.

We started off with the breakfast tacos and that was the best start to this meal.pancakes with eggs, bacon, and fruit stuffed inside. The best thing ever I got the bougie grits and it was so good, its enough to feed multiple people. My wife got the steak eggs and potatoes and it was cooked to perfection and the flavor was amazing. Huge plus is when you walk in, they have you sanitize your hands.

Like Burno said, leave the door open. This food will lead you to tranquility. The atmosphere is so home warming, I didn't want to leave. From hearing the chef call out hot plate, while you sing along a song that puts a smile on your heart.
What a place to visit. This will not be my last. God bless.
